  1. Oh my god, yes. They’ll be talking about this “epic” gaffe in NFL circles for literally minutes…
  2. I'll take "@ScottLaw's impression of every position group on the Bills except QB" for $2000, Ken.
  3. Well, that one is a surprise to the “Beane always holds onto his draft picks too long” contingent…even though he has absolutely not hung on to draft picks too long.
  4. The annual "talk about the cuts" thread is second only to the annual "comment on the draft picks" thread for wild, ridiculous takes on the board. It's amazing how many hidden GMs we have around here. I mean, has there actually been a surprise cut yet?
  5. Huh? Milano, Knox, Davis, T. Johnson, Bass are singles and doubles? And he hit the biggest homerun of all in Allen. Man, this board LOVES to exaggerate. Yes, we all want Beane to hit on more of his 1-3 picks. No question.
  6. I think there’s a fair argument that Beane is better at selecting players in rounds 4-7 than he is in rounds 1-3. It’s weird, but as long as you get guys who can play…
  7. In simplest terms…he was going to be cut, for which the Bills would receive nothing. Instead, they gained some cap space and swapped out a 7th round pick for a 5th.
  8. What part of “no commentary in this thread” do you peeps not understand?
  9. It was probably Joe Schoen who pushed the Bills to draft him!
  10. That trope is getting stale, my boy. This roster is loaded whether you choose to admit it or not. If 30% of 1st round draft choices fail, what do you think the odds are for 2nd rounders?
  11. I’ve been thinking about the pros and cons of putting Von on the 53 to begin the season. The Bills’ defense is on the field for what, 65-70 snaps per game? If Von is eased into the lineup and only plays 15-20 snaps for the first few games (roughly 20-25%) isn’t that still better than not having him? Obviously this is all contingent on him being “ready to go.” We know the goal is to have him healthy for the stretch run.
  12. Please enlighten me with these “worst takes” of 2022. Was it that I hoped the receiving corps was good enough? I did support acquiring OBJ and drafting a WR in the first round, if you recall. Was it that I expected Kromer to improve the OL? I certainly wasn’t alone there. I’ve been more “on” with my opinions and predictions concerning the Bills (and other teams) than you by a mile, my friend.
  13. That's ok...Ethan will just label me a "homer" (as if that's an insult) and say I don't think McD should ever be criticized. Of course that's not the case, but I've grown used to it.
  14. I'll never understand comments like this. The man has had more success running NFL defenses than you could ever dream of...but YOU don't "trust" him to play the right players.
  15. No…I mean guys not currently on the roster who will be on 9/11
  16. Thought this would be an interesting poll to take us through the next two weeks…my own guess is two. Poll does not include “roster gymnastics” moves like cutting and re-signing a vested veteran… Please include your comments on specifics (position, name, etc.)
  17. Good post. I think it was obvious to anyone watching the Bills’ offense at the end of last season that we only threw intermediate and deep. There was no short game whatsoever. Most blamed Dorsey, some blamed Josh…but they were only doing what they thought they needed to do because there were no answers in the short game, even when Beasley came back. Yesterday Josh threw two quick slants that got out of his hand in just over a second after the snap…we never saw that last season. I also loved how Kincaid drew two penalties in the short time he was in the game.
  18. Interesting. I watched it live yesterday (in NC) and it was the Bears announcers. I looked in my library this morning and it was the same broadcast…but there is also a 43-minute condensed game in there…which is great!
  19. Agreed. But he doesn’t “suck” and that poster is full of awful takes on a consistent basis.
  20. It’s a bad take. Murray is a piece needed on a veteran Super Bowl contender. You can’t “hope” the young kids can protect Josh’s back if injury forces them into the game. That said, I loved the Evans run. Fantastic.
  21. I am continually awestruck by how differently the ball comes out of any other QB’s hand, and how it comes out of Josh Allen’s hand. Other QBs look like they are throwing the ball in slow motion.
  22. Do you consider it your personal responsibility to come up with awful takes?
  23. Stay cool, PonyBoy.
  24. FWIW, very pleased with the ST broadcast today on YTTV. Tried the multiview, which worked great. Also really like being able to look at live stats during the game. Two 👍🏻 from eball.
  25. Was going to say same thing. I think Beane is going to grab a Pat after cuts or trade for one now.
