  1. Kevin Harlan's PBP call of the streaker during a game was one of the funniest things I've ever heard an announcer do.
  2. Have you guys not heard Ed Oliver say that? It cracked me up. He said it within the last week, after the first preseason game.
  3. The biggest room in the house is the room for improvement.
  4. As ANY defensive coach will tell you, sacks are the "flashy" stats fans and the media love, but they'd much rather know they are getting consistent pressure on the QB, forcing him to move "off his spot" and hurry his throws. It's pretty basic. OBVIOUSLY you'd like to have both.
  5. "Just getting pressures" forces incompletions and picks. If you don't believe me, ask McDermott, because he's who said it (among other respected NFL coaches).
  6. So Thad Brown (can we PLEASE stop quoting him?) says Cam is carving up the Bills' D, then multiple tweets about great D plays by Buffalo.
  7. Disagree, the kid has had to fight for everything. He remembers.
  8. And Josh is one heluva smart guy who not only wants to win but to shove it in every naysayer’s face. I love it. He’s the perfect QB for this team.
  9. Gesundheit.
  10. Quick recap: they really only watched the offense because of the way the fields are set up. Josh looked great and they loved his decisiveness with the ball. Beasley's immediate separation is amazing. Ray Ray showed good hands. Andre Roberts "will have a big role" in the offense -- can run all routes. OL talk -- Bates got some snaps at C, might be able to make himself valuable being able to play any position on the line. Morse looks very close to a return.
  11. Captain Jack
  12. If you can get a girl to go to a strip club with you on a second date, she's a keeper.
  13. Meh. The author admitted he focused more on the Bills' offense in the paragraph right above that, and then when he wrote about the Panthers' O he described only one play -- a short pass to McCaffrey who made Milano miss. McCaffrey does that to every LB in the league. Also, the author used "seemed to" twice -- he wasn't even really watching that action. Wallace picked off Cam in the end zone. Take from it what you want, but it wasn't some scathing indictment of the Bills' D.
  14. Yes, someone knows.
  15. I'm biased, of course, but I think top 5 without a doubt. The others I put in that category are the Cowboys, Packers, Raiders, and Steelers.
  16. Worst part about this post is that I had to see those uniforms/helmet again --
  17. Pretty awesome to see so many Bills fans in attendance at a training camp practice in SC...Bills Mafia is everywhere!
  18. I'm guessing the number is right around 100, give or take. A handful of games growing up, then all games from 90-93, and then about 2-3 per season since then. Road stadiums: Shea, Giants Stadium, Tennessee, Carolina, Miami, Atlanta (Fulton County Stadium and Georgia Dome), DC, Baltimore
  19. The league not discussing players in the concussion protocol is a LEGAL issue -- as in, they're not going to subject themselves to any potential liability based upon what they do or don't say about concussions. The subject is taboo. A player is "in" the protocol until he is "out." Period. As for whether it was a good/bad/dumb/smart move by Beane to sign Morse to that contract? I'll actually wait until some real football games are played before making that assessment.
  20. ScottLaw is. It's the only time he felt the franchise was headed in the right direction.
  21. Not to worry, Greggggggg Williams shall WILL them to victory!
  22. Clemson, Alabama, somebody, somebody...
  23. A few quality snaps, perhaps. Nate Peterman has never put together even one, much less “a few,” quality games in the regular season.
  24. Yes, yes, yes Scott...for crissake if we know anything it’s that you haven’t “bought in” to what Beane and McDermott have done. But thanks for continuing to repeat your skepticism, it’s a welcome respite to, you know, actually looking forward to a season.
