  1. I have an idea -- can't the Bills just bring in Marv Levy to do the pregame speech each week?
  2. I will freely admit I'm surprised by last night's result. I haven't watched very much Iggles football this year but it appears Dallas completely dominated that game. The Iggles will be a desperate team this week. The question is whether the Bills match their intensity for 60 minutes.
  3. I think Josh fits the definition of "gamer" to a T. I was very frustrated in the 1st half but then Josh goes out there and plays an almost perfect 2nd half. The dude dials it in when it's crunch time, and that's a great quality to have in a QB. Teams shouldn't apologize for "ugly" wins. The whole point is to get the W and thankfully the Bills have a couple of guys -- Josh and Tre White -- who were not going to let them lose.
  4. Yeah, this is where I am. They haven’t been in this position before and needed to get a taste of adversity as the favorite. The key is that they pulled through thanks to two All-Pro plays by Tre White and a fantastic 2nd half by Josh. It’s definitely true that teams need to “learn” how to win.
  5. Yeah, I guess that is correct in the first half but he led three scoring drives and didn’t turn the ball over, which is progress.
  6. You know what I did? Nothing. I predicted an easy win and they made me sweat it out a bit but wound up winning by 10.
  7. He needs to figure it out, because despite that being an overall ugly game Josh played pretty well except for the deep shots.
  8. Yeah, I'm not buying what you're selling. I completely agree the Vikings overlooked the Bills and were punched in the mouth quickly by Buffalo in the 1Q and never recovered. Still, that Bills roster is nothing at all like the Fish roster, and I think the Bills this year are a (much) better team than the Vikings were last year. We can agree to disagree -- I'm on the 10-step BBFS recovery plan and not worrying about games the Bills clearly should win is step 3.
  9. I really don't see a parallel besides the point spread. Buffalo was an unknown entity last season but it's clear they were talented. There is nothing talented about the roster Miami will trot out onto the field at The Cap on Sunday.
  10. Any Bills fan who is not extremely confident about this game is simply suffering from longstanding BBFS.
  11. I'm tellin' ya, the more I look at this matchup the more I'll be disappointed if the Bills don't win by something like 50-3. The Fish are bad -- like, really bad -- and this Bills team is actually pretty damn good.
  12. I mean, it would have to be WR, right? That's really the only position at which a "stud" could put them over the top.
  13. The guy has legitimate talent he's just always hurt. I'm open-minded about him but he'll have to prove he can play for the rest of the season. You know what they say about ability vs. availability.
  14. I'll believe it when I see it.
  15. The Bills just need to be sure they don't make the mistake of winning any more games against NFC opponents.
  16. There is NO doubt in my mind Tre White will remain a Buffalo Bill.
  17. That was the strangest game last night. Got our asses kicked much of the game and still skated away with a 3-0 shutout. Kudos to Hutts for another great game, and welcome to the party, Mitts! I'll say one thing: Sheary > Rodrigues. Particularly in the 2nd, I can't believe how many wide open shots the Kings had that just missed the net entirely. That was terrible (and lucky for us). I wanted to see how they'd rebound from a tough game and even though LA controlled much of the play they jumped to an early lead and were able to hang on. That builds mental toughness.
  18. If Green is healthy and winds up going to the Pats*** I'll vomit.
  19. I'm not big on making specific in-game predictions but something tells me we'll see about five passes batted down at the LOS, and I think Edmunds snags his first INT of the season.
  20. I was hoping maybe the Baltimore game on 12/8 will be flexed to Sunday night but they've already got Seattle @ Rams that night (which is unlikely to be kicked out). Agree that Bills/Pats*** will almost certainly be flexed to Saturday, looking at the other four games.
  21. What it screams to me is a GM and owner who are not on the same page with the coach. They traded for Rosen and forced him upon Flores, who in turn knows the guy isn't any good.
  22. I'll set the over/under on Fitz picks at 3.
  23. Well, at least we know Fitz isn't any good in Orchard Park in October.
