  1. Corrected for accuracy.
  2. Yup. I'm not counting on Mitch Morse to help this football team win games, and neither should anyone else. It seems to me to be a foregone conclusion he'll be sidelined again, sooner rather than later. Chalk this one up to taking a risk that probably won't pan out. I'm just glad Beane got other guys in like Feliciano, Long, and now Bates who have gotten a lot of reps at C during camp.
  3. Obviously my comment was tongue-in-cheek but I appreciate the thoughtful response. Good for you.
  4. With no significant injuries to key starters, this team will win at least 10.
  5. After reading this I'm worried about @WIDE LEFT
  6. One of George Foreman's greatest accomplishments.
  7. I respect performers who now have a no phones policy at their shows. You literally have to seal your phone in a bag for the duration of the show. I don't know how that works for people who have an emergency, but I still like the fact it keeps the "concert filmers" at bay.
  8. I don't get this at all. Like four kids wasn't enough? Do you feel it's your personal responsibility to keep civilization going?
  9. By the way, @BillsVet, the 14 (and counting) laughing emojis seem to contradict your assertion the post isn’t funny. I’m sure they’re all incapable of understanding your breed of fandom as well.
  10. Nope, he’s still a prick. Kind of the point. ? Efail — hahahahaha, stop it, I can’t even hit the right keys on my keyboard I’m laughing so hard. Wait, a wedgie joke also? Like I’m a nerd in high school? Stop it, you scamp! You’re right, I’m terrible at humor and you’ve got it nailed.
  11. And if that happens, so be it, but there's no way he should be taking up a spot on the Bills' 53 at this point in time.
  12. I didn't read through the whole thread but I was thinking about this question and I think Allen/Barkley is probably the best duo since (gasp) Flutie/Johnson. Whether you loved/hated either one of those guys they each had talent and could be "the guy" for a while. Since Kelly and Reich the Bills haven't had that except for those two -- until now (hopefully).
  13. Jerry is the hero of the negative nincompoops on this site. Just wait -- they'll turn on him too.
  14. Somebody please post if Josh said anything other than: "Out here working and getting better each day" "Iron sharpens iron" "I love this team and playing for Buffalo" Thank you.
  15. ^^^^^^^ @BillsVet -- like I said, no sense of humor. Sad.
  16. One reasonable assessment of the situation is that Beane was intrigued by the possibility of AB on the Bills and made further inquiry -- as would any competent GM. Once it became apparent that the tradeoff between trade compensation and AB's contract demands did not fit, Beane stepped away. Another assessment is that Beane wanted AB badly but AB told Rosenhaus "anybody but Buffalo" and that's where it ended. In either case, I don't think anyone could have predicted or foreseen the frostbite/trench foot/helmet saga that has ensued. And for that, I think Beane is breathing a huge sigh of relief.
  17. I'm definitely planning to get Allen for my QB2 in the league that lets me play two.
  18. Lighten up, Francis...the thread was an obvious joke, but I realize by now you have no sense of humor. I don't listen to or read Sully and haven't in years because he's just a miserable prick. But you know what? I don't listen to ANY local Buffalo radio shows because I hate on-air homerism just as much as I hate overly exuberant pessimism. I read the Buffalo News articles because I think Vic is a well-connected guy and he isn't always looking for the pessimistic angle. I read The Athletic for the same reason. I just want balance. Have you ever been the one guy in the room who doesn't get the joke? Yes, I bet you have.
  19. "I know we're 10-2, but if we just had a gosh darn #1 WR..."
  20. Is anyone who claims to be a Bills fan still upset Beane didn't trade for this clown?
  21. Yeah, we were excited about Josh's play against 3rd stringers and heard he was finally getting a few 1st team reps in camp. And then reality struck. This year does feel a bit different, although I'm sure I've said that before as the unabashed homer I am.
  22. I think people are forgetting that while Wade's two big plays are a nice story, in reality he is still a "babe in the woods" with respect to American football and no team in their right mind would put him into a regular season game in which he might botch the play call or miss a blocking responsibility. Preseason is the perfect situation for him to learn. When (not if) the Bills release Wade I can't imagine him being claimed by another NFL team to their active roster, and the Bills should certainly put him on their own PS in the exempt position, where he can learn for a year.
  23. Yeah, that team was 3-6 and headed nowhere but turned it around to win 6 in a row before...the unspeakable.
