  1. Dude, if anyone is annoying it’s Mr. “I’m worried about this, I fear that, and oh, my heart has been broken by the Bills too many times to have hope.” You’re like a teenage girl, for crying out loud. This is supposed to be fun, try enjoying it!
  2. I stop by this thread to have a chuckle at the expense of the Fish and lo and behold, here’s sea biscuit defending their honor and lecturing Bills fans about why they shouldn’t mock another team. It’s a bizarro world around here.
  3. ...who had accomplished nothing in Buffalo. Key point left out of your "not really complicated" explanation.
  4. Yeah, good point.
  5. I'm praying this is the classic case of learning what not to do.
  6. Duke is certainly helped by the fact that there are no longer "graduated" cutdowns of NFL rosters during the preseason...it's all one big cut following the last preseason game. He'll need to show in those contests that he's the guy who is "open even when covered" and let his physicality show in a way it can't during TC practices. It's guys like this for whom preseason is so important.
  7. So be it -- I don't watch much of this stuff anyway and what the national media thinks of the Bills is of no concern to me. Oh, and news flash -- a team that has been to 3 straight Super Bowls and won 3 of the last 5 is going to be the primary feature most of the time.
  8. Serious question...do the Bills send their injured guys back to OP so they can receive treatment in their SOTA facility? I'm thinking about guys like Croom and Knox with their hammies. It's only an hour drive...they could go for treatment and still get back for meetings/etc. Does anybody know?
  9. He's still such a doosh. The only thing Gregggggg is waiting for is for Gase to be fired so he can have yet another chance at a HC gig.
  10. Yeah, I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest so you don't need to "prove" anything...just my opinion.
  11. Actually, they're not. GMFB talks about them a lot.
  12. He has a fantastic W-L record when he has Andrew Luck or Carson Palmer at QB. Winston is neither. I expect Jameis to be a somewhat valuable FF QB who will continue to kill his team at the worst times.
  13. Any Giants or Fish fans I know certainly are expecting worse from their teams.
  14. Seems to me as though McD is really developing and honing his craft as well. Reports of crisp, efficient practices with no wasted effort. Situational work as a focus early in training camp (as opposed to running basic drills and getting everyone "up to speed"). Individual coaching among the position groups. This is all the result of McD's leadership and how he has learned over his first two seasons on the job. The Buffalo Bills are running like a well-oiled, established, professional organization! Let's all keep our fingers crossed the injury bug doesn't bite worse and get ready for a fun season!
  15. Fair enough, we'll see. I also think the Bruce Arians experiment will fail in Tampa, and the Panthers will be a playoff contender.
  16. I think the Falcons are going to be very good this year; they will give the Saints a run for their money.
  17. "It's important you learn how to throw while getting a wedgie..."
  18. My boldest team-related prediction that goes against the "mass media" outlook relates to the Ravens. I just don't get it. I think their defense will still be decent but they lost a lot on that side of the ball. Deciding to install a run-based offense behind a run-first QB in this day and age makes no sense to me. I think the Ravens will beat the bad teams on their roster and have a tough time defeating anyone with an above-average defense. It would not surprise me at all to see this becoming a 5-6 win team in 2019.
  19. For the love of god, why? If there is any time to get excited and "pumped up" it's now! We've got an up-and-coming HC, a young stud at QB, a roster finally brimming with talent, and a front office that is actually following through on a plan! I read posts "worrying" about this and that -- a post earlier in this thread is by someone apparently "terrified" about how a player may let him down. Get a grip! If you can't have fun with this team after all we've been through as Bills fans please consult your mental health professional immediately! BBFS has a cure!
  20. If true, very hard to believe the NFL would uphold the suspension.
  21. Oh, the annals of TSW are replete with "Daboll sucks, he ran crappy offenses before as an NFL OC so why would he be any better now, and he even made the Alabama offense worse" and more of that sort of stuff. We have a fanbase of knee-jerk, instant-gratification babies who don't believe in player or coach development. If you did something one way at one point in your career, that's what you are. Period. Daboll hasn't proven anything yet with respect to the Bills, but the signs seem to be pointing in the right direction.
  22. I disagree. In my opinion the good outweighs the bad by a wide margin, and none of the "bad" has involved significant draft capital or cap space. And if you want to gripe about the free agents Beane signed going into 2018 I'll say, again, that those were simply roster fillers in a known year of transition.
  23. Travis Henry, Antonio Cromartie, and Shawn Kemp just called Tate and said, "bro, you shoulda called me."
  24. Funny, I'm the opposite. It is so refreshing to hear lots of positive commentary about a Buffalo Bills 1st string offense I just can't get enough.
