Dee-twah did not convert a 3rd down until the 4th quarter. In a regular season game I doubt they would have gone for it on 4th the way they did twice in the first half. Run defense was absolutely fine.

I’m hoping (as I’m sure we all are) that once the roster is set the core special teamers will function at a much higher level than what we witnessed last night. Very concerned about punting. Bojo just isn’t cutting it. Carter was better but he needs to stay healthy.

He started very slowly...was great on the 2:00 drive to end the half. The ill-advised pick was a combination of frustration and also knowing it’s preseason. I’d like to think (but can’t be sure) he wouldn’t do the same thing in a “real” game. He was a frustrated young gunslinger and tried to make something happen. It was U-G-L-Y though...no doubt about it.

Yeah, that's some BBFS talking right there. Last year we were fooled by Josh's performance against future fry cooks in the first two preseason games and didn't appreciate how much he had to learn...AND our OL was downright putrid. I'm hoping to see a nice, solid performance with no huge mistakes or significant injuries.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. Any given NFL team may have one of those types of wins each year, but it basically comes down to talent and coaching. I think there's an argument that the Bills and Jets have similar overall talent, but in my opinion the Bills' coaching staff is significantly better.

I disagree. Josh needs reps. He's still an inexperienced QB, and practice just isn't the same as playing in a game. Now, if he and the first string O look good for a couple of drives then you pull them. And as for the starting D playing? Name me an NFL defense that couldn't use more "live" reps practicing their tackling fundamentals. Next week sit everybody, but I want to see the starters in there for a reasonable amount of time tonight. You can't "worry" about injuries.
