Well I figured you're grown up by now.

How's life on the 2nd floor these days?

Walton RB, Mia Cut - Father of the year
eball replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"The Dolphins are now likely in the market for a new lead running back starting in 2020. Kalen Ballage has assumed that role in Walton's absence with little success, averaging just 1.9 yards per carry. Patrick Laird and Myles Gaskin have received limited reps behind Ballage. The trio, along with De'Lance Turner, will carry the load for the rest of the season." Damn. Talk about an empty cupboard! -
And you're the reincarnation of whom? This is called taking some extreme liberties with the facts.

Days like this past Sunday must make you miserable.

LOL. You think Frank Gore and Lorax have anything to do with that? And so we don't overreact to this statistic the Bills' average age at cutdown was 26.3 and the youngest team (Miami) was 25.2. The Pats*** are the oldest at 27.0. The Bills are very young in a lot of key areas -- QB, RB, TE, LB, DT, CB

So it looks like the Broncos' O is horrible on 3rd down and horrible in the red zone. Plays to our defensive strengths pretty well I'd say. Take the under in a 23-10 Buffalo win.

Why do some feel the incessant need to compare teams from different organizations and different years? Each year and each team face different circumstances and are made up of different players and coaches. I don't know what purpose it serves unless you're simply trying to "rank" all-time best or worst squads. Young QB and good defense. Those are the only two parallels that can be drawn between the '19 Bills and '18 Bears. And by themselves they say absolutely nothing.

I hear ya, but one would think the gameplan was to run on the Fish and Smith/DiMarco fit into that sort of plan (theoretically). I think it was more the fact that they went tempo and kept Miami from making substitutions by keeping the same personnel in the game. Regardless, the offense functioned well.

As others have noted, he was placed on IR for a neck injury. I happened to be watching his last game and he was absolutely DRILLED by a defender on the final play of the game. After that game he trashed the coaching staff, and the next day he went on IR. The timing of the two events is a convenient coincidence but I do believe he was/is hurt.

Good on you. It displays a healthy attitude to refuse to enjoy a good outing because you expect the sky to fall next week.

From the Buffalo News this a.m.; should make a lot of folks happy. Perhaps this is a sign that the Bills are finally figuring out "who they are" on offense and creating an identity -- or it's just the personnel grouping that they felt worked best against Miami. In either case, 37 pts and 400+ of offense is nothing to sneeze at. 1. The Bills didn’t use their “heavy” offensive package much. Blocking tight end Lee Smith played a season-low seven snaps (10%), while fullback Patrick DiMarco was on the field for just four snaps (6%).

Big Ben just threw up in his mouth a little bit being mentioned in the same sentence as Rivers. -

Eli’s two Super Bowl runs will probably be enough to get him into the HOF. -
That thing looks awful.

John Brown is leading the AFC in receiving

Yesterday was a big game for Knox...made some plays and NO DROPS. If he becomes confident with his hands he has the potential to really hurt teams. -

If only we had a #1... I kid, I kid, of course it would be nice to have another stud to complement Brown but after 10 weeks you can no longer say it's a fluke. The dude can ball and isn't just a "deep threat." -

Lamar Jackson: I'll Be Having That Crow Pot Pie Now (edited title)
eball replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which is a pretty funny statement, because what else would he say? There's certainly a difference between "football intelligence" and simply possessing general knowledge or an analytical mind. Lamar seems to have football intelligence in great supply. I do also think there is something to be said for not being "too smart" to just play the game. Smart people tend to over-analyze things, whereas a guy who's not as smart might just move on to the next play.
