  1. Brandon Allen isn't a rookie but I watched the Broncos vs. Cleveland a few weeks ago and he threw some floaters. I think the Bills' D is going to EAT this week if they take care of Freeman and the running game. The key will be how much "the right Allen" carries over from last week so we can put some points on the board.
  2. It can still be the K-Gun (since the original was K for Keith McKellar); we have Knox and Kroft!
  3. Good summary. I was glad to see Indy lose as well (from a Bills perspective) but it's tough not to root for them/Frank. I think ass-chin and the Texans will get bounced in their first playoff game.
  4. The Bills have not appeared on Sunday Night Football since it became the "game of the week" with Michaels and Collinsworth. It would be awesome to be flexed into that spot at Pittsburgh and then go out and pound the Stillers.
  5. You want him to wear an a-s-s-h-o-l-e?
  6. That loss really puts Indy behind the 8-ball. Houston’s schedule (after the Pats*** next week) is soft. Meanwhile, the Bills will be two games clear of the #7 seed if they win Sunday.
  7. I have no idea why you felt the need to post this.
  8. It looked like Fitz lingered a bit longer after the game last week talking to Josh...Fitzy is just a good dude.
  9. The best thing Myles Garrett could have done was to not appeal the suspension, publish a written apology to Rudolph in the Pittsburgh newspaper, promise he would never do it again, and then shut his damn mouth. If the NFLPA "insisted" that he appeal he should have still done the same things. Shame on Garrett and his "team of advisors" for thinking they could win an appeal by citing a dissimilar prior incident and making unsubstantiated claims of racism. Screw him and screw Browns fans who defend him.
  10. This could wind up being another "homework" thread...
  11. That was early November.
  12. I see where you're coming from, Stank, but truthfully, I don't think you can lose a home game in late November to a team playing .300 football and call yourselves playoff-worthy.
  13. Yep, it's too bad the Bills had a s-h-i-t-s-h-o-w at QB and another change at HC the year he became a FA. He would've been a great "process" guy.
  14. Good highlights, he was an amazing back...but why is Dan Marino playing defense and chasing him at the 0:57 mark?
  15. Yeah, I have no idea. There must be some reason why he hasn't gotten any of the jobs he has interviewed for, but the success of Baltimore's offense will probably earn him a shot.
  16. Good read, thanks for sharing.
  17. Perhaps, but I think it's mostly so Daboll gets a birds-eye view and can relay what he's seeing to Josh between series and during timeouts.
  18. That stuff only matters to fans and (some) media. The game is important because (a) it's a conference game; (b) it's a home game; and (c) it's against an inferior opponent. If the Bills want to be considered a PLAYOFF team they win this game, period. You don't lose at home in late November to a team playing .300 football. It's really that simple.
  19. Technically, yes, but I'm referring to the wild internet speculation last week that Daboll's move to the skybox was an indication he's reading the defense for Josh in his helmet before the snap. The Bills' use of a hurry-up attack and comments like these from Josh tell me that's not happening.
  20. Roman has been interviewing for HC jobs for at least five years. He's a really smart guy and he will probably get his chance soon.
  21. At the very least, the two teams (Buffalo and Dallas) are on equal footing. While obviously I have to root for a Dallas win Sunday it would be nice for the Pats*** D to beat them up a little bit.
  22. ...here's a snippet from a conversation Josh and Jim Kelly had with Vic Carucci and Adam Begnini that is supposedly airing soon: One of the biggest lessons Kelly said Allen has needed to learn is to take charge on the field, especially when it comes to communicating with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. Unlike Kelly, who called his own plays when the Bills made the no-huddle attack their offensive foundation, Allen, as with most NFL QBs, has plays dispatched to him via a headset in his helmet. "(You tell Daboll), 'These are plays I like, these are plays I don't like, and if it ever comes a point in the game where the play's coming in late, call your own play!' " Kelly said. "Daboll gives me the freedom to do that," Allen said. "There were a couple times this Sunday I did it and it worked to our advantage." "Wow! You're listening now," Kelly chimed in. "All right!" "Third down, one of our first third downs, they were trying to sub out, and I called a play, and we got 'em for 12 men on the field and got a first down," Allen said. "There were a couple other ones." "He's listening to Uncle Jim," Kelly said with a laugh.
