Clear Sign Beane Doesn't Think We Are Ready
eball replied to Ghs24mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I trust Beane more than I trust McDermott. If Beane is waiting until next year so am I. -
Right. And can we please get off the “desperate Eagles” refrain? It’s silly.

Good teams/Bad teams and Points
eball replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sorry for picking on you, but this simply sounds ridiculous to me. They need to score more points than their opponents. Period. What makes you or anyone else "feel better" is all psychological and has nothing to do with whether or not the Bills are a good team. -
Strong winds forecasted for Bills v Birds
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Latest forecast has chance of rain dropping under 50% but winds at 22 mph...the passing and kicking games are going to be fun. I'm going to say the Bills rush for 175 yards...80 for Gore, 60 for Singletary, and 35 for Josh -- with each scoring a TD. -

Your too kind. -
Got my advance tickets to see it Friday night the 20th.

I think Milano is such a significantly underrated part of this defense. Really hope he can go because Mo Alexander was a liability out there last week, and I don't think Corey Thompson is ready to return yet either.

I like 11-4 -- the regular season W/L record since Peterman was traded and including Barkley's start vs. the Jets. I bet most NFL observers don't know that.

Barnwell Blind Stats - Allen and Goff
eball replied to inthebuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh is most certainly on an upward trajectory...by almost any measure his last two starts have been his best. If he dials in the long ball, look out. -
Strong winds forecasted for Bills v Birds

Weather Underground is my go-to, and in Orchard Park they forecast a 50-60% chance of light rain/showers throughout the game with 18-20 mph winds. -
Barnwell Blind Stats - Allen and Goff

And lest we forget, Allen was playing much better in the 2nd half against the Pats*** before the concussion. -
The Philly writers are trying to talk themselves into believing the Iggles are still the 2017 version.

Only two out of five Buffalo News staffers picked the Bills on Sunday, and the explanations from those who picked Philly are pathetic.

As of right now you're looking at 18-20 mph winds and about an 80% chance of showers during gametime. Fun stuff. -
Gore and Hughes DNP?

From elves to smurfs.

And their play on the field backs that up, regardless of who their opponents have been. I'm really excited about watching Josh this game. In back to back weeks vs. Tennessee and Miami I think he has made significant strides towards being the QB we want him to be. I feel like he is ready to bust out and dominate a game any week now.

All of this “worrying” about the Iggles being “pissed off” and particularly motivated for this game is hilarious. They are what they are. If they play well, Buffalo will also have to play well, but thinking a team playing its third game in a row on the road will be “extra” hungry for this one is some serious BBFS. You know what? I think the Bills are extra hungry as well because they know they need to keep pace with the Pats***. If we allow ourselves for a few moments to believe the Bills are actually a good team we don’t “worry” about a game like this.

I'm tired of reading opinions that question whether the Bills are good or not based upon their opponents' records. I've been watching football for the better part of 40 years and what I see is a team that, for the most part, doesn't beat itself with dumb mistakes and finds a way to play best when it matters most (i.e., the 4th quarter). What makes bad teams bad? They lose to good teams.

Aaron Schatz (Football Outsiders) on the Bills schedule
eball replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep, and that's why I'm not giving up hope to win the division. Wouldn't it be incredible if that W16 game @ Foxboro actually meant winning or losing the East? -

Good stuff, enjoyable as always.
