  1. Dude. Get off the sauce. There's a difference between developing a QB and "hiding" him. There isn't a single throw Daboll is afraid to let Josh make.
  2. Anyone who believes AB wrote that post is a fool. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. This would be what, the 4th or 5th time?
  3. I am as certain of this as just about anything in football right now. He will be the story of the season (if they play). If they don't play, his breakout will come in 2021.
  4. Isn't Bates a good backup C option?
  5. I think the Bills will wind up being one of the best-prepared teams at dealing with all of this. The question is whether the rest of the league does a good enough job that games can be played.
  6. Right, and that was the case even before this setback. People need to come to grips with the fact that Duke was a kinda nice story but this team has more talent now. He had his chance in the playoff game and didn’t come through.
  7. Just the opposite, Bill -- my mind has been opened wide to a lot of things I conveniently have never had to address in my privileged white life.
  8. If you think that every social justice movement is going to be lovely, peaceful, and involve no mistakes or incidents, I just don’t know what to tell you. We don’t use isolated incidents to try and (unsuccessfully) prove a larger point. Have a nice day.
  9. If so, it would have only been because of the number of racists in Buffalo. Your take is ignorant. Anyone who says “all lives matter” as a retort to BLM simply doesn’t get it.
  10. @machine gun kelly Duke didn’t opt out, he was placed on the COVID list.
  11. The Singletary/Moss touch ratio will wind up at around 70/30, I think.
  12. Not sure what your agenda is, but calling Allen injury prone in the NFL is inaccurate.
  13. Give him a break. I have plenty of friends who are Mecks a cans also.
  14. Ridiculous comparison. Tua hasn't played a down of football since his injury. I think 2+ years of a predominantly healthy NFL history supports my opinion concerning Josh Allen.
  15. Not in the pros he doesn't. One freak hit on his elbow, and a head-knocker. I'm going to continue to ignore what happened in college and focus on recent history.
  16. I think the Bills were ready to move on from Star after this season, and it sucks that he will now have such a huge dead cap hit if they cut him in 2021. For him, though, it was probably the smart thing to do.
  17. During his PRO career Josh has missed 4 games (2018) and a quarter (2019). Basically, over his last 23 games he only missed the 4th quarter of the first NE*** game. I don't call that injury prone for an NFL QB.
  18. Josh is injury prone? He got hurt once in his rookie season and missed a few games. Now if you say his style of play puts him at risk to take more hits I'll buy that, but injury prone is not accurate.
  19. Buf716 is not having the greatest run on this board recently...
  20. That’s correct, the decision is final once made. I just would have thought any players considering the opt-out would have already discussed this with their families/agents prior to reporting to training camp for COVID testing. But you’re right, there are probably still some guys on the fence and as Yolo noted, perhaps the paperwork being filed is another delay.
  21. Right, but wouldn’t you think they’d have made their decisions before reporting?
  22. [getting back on track] So Star is the only Buffalo opt-out at this point? Everyone had to report to camp yesterday for their first COVID test so maybe we’re in the clear?
  23. Mickey Rooney never looked better.
  24. Foles opting out? Wow, that's bad for the Bears.
