  1. That’s exactly right, and the team trading can “control” where the player goes (outside the division/conference). Let’s face it, Foster just isn’t in the Bills’ long term plans because of who they’ve acquired. I hope they’re able to trade him outside the conference for a conditional pick and he gets a 2nd chance. I don’t know what to make of Croom. Jokes aside, they haven’t kept him around because he’s dating the owner’s daughter. He’s a potential weapon in the passing game but apparently can’t block a toddler.
  2. This is what I always come back to when folks talk about the “tough schedule.” What do you think other teams think when they see Buffalo on the schedule? The Bills are going to be favored in at least 12 of their 16 games. Bring on the Juggernaut! The Bills have become one of the healthiest franchises in the league, and it’s not by accident. They have SOTA facilities and a staff that focuses on player health and well-being. You might say, “doesn’t every team?” Not to the same level. Now, of course, injuries happen, but the Bills are set up as well or better than anyone.
  3. Just because I think the Bills will win 12 games doesn’t mean I make stupid bets. Give me a bet with real odds to consider.
  4. Yes, and I’ll add — if you don’t name Trubisky the starter he’s done. This is a #2 overall pick. I think the only way Foles could “win” this job would have been if Trubisky completely blew up in camp and that wasn’t likely to happen. Bringing Foles in was a kick-in-the-ass for Mitch, and a viable option if he gets hurt or regresses.
  5. Words not often heard in these parts.
  6. Ok, so that's not how betting works, but I'm not surprised you two geniuses don't know that. The Vegas o/u on Bills wins is 9 (or 9.5), so all I'm saying is I'd bet the over. If you want a bet at 11.5 wins you need to be giving some better odds than 1:1.
  7. I don't agree that McD likes to "sit on a lead." In three seasons as HC he's never had an offense capable of keeping its foot on the gas pedal. We'll see how "conservative" he is if the offense is firing on all cylinders. If he proves me wrong, so be it.
  8. Gilliam has a lot of good qualities and could be a versatile tool for both the offense and ST. I wouldn't be surprised...
  9. Sorry, it makes me feel good to know I was accurately reading the pulse of what was going on. Sue me.
  10. Somebody around here called this one...in a separate thread no less...wonder who?
  11. Looks like my idea wasn't so crazy after all....
  12. LaContorta is such a joke. Makes a lot of vague, unprovable statements and when they turn out to be wrong he just says "at the last minute they went another way" or some other nonsense.
  13. Just stop. When an AP beat writer stops by, the last thing you do is what you idiots are doing.
  14. @GunnerBill I see you've come around to my thinking on the QBs and WRs!
  15. Red Zone “not worth it?” Wow. Max allows you to stream from mobile devices, which is huge. You also get the “short cuts” which is a great way to re-watch a game in less than 30 min (although Game Pass has the condensed version of games too). I admit that the fantasy channel and “player tracker” features are pretty useless.
  16. Really, guys? 7 pages for Tyrod, who hasn’t been a Bill for more than two years now? Let’s move on. Tyrod is a great guy and we all know he’s not a high level starting QB but he’s certainly “serviceable” as a bridge for a team. He’s the QB who managed our team out of the drought. Not gonna pile on him.
  17. What a great troll job of Bills fans by this dink. There is literally nobody who truly follows the NFL who thinks the Bills are a 7-win team. Nobody. It’s weird though...Reich is talking about his Colts as if they should be SB favorites. It’s going to be fascinating to watch because I thought Rivers looked like toast last season, but the hype is that he is “rejuvenated” in Indy.
  18. I can’t believe Subway is still in business. Haven’t been to one since before Jared was caught banging little kids.
  19. They are all now obnoxious Bucs fans.
  20. Ok here are my "surprises" -- Bills keep 7 WRs (surprise)...Duke is not one of them (not a surprise) Bills keep 2 QBs (Allen/Barkley), then sign Webb to PS DiMarco released/retired with injury settlement Lee Smith released; Gilliam 3rd TE behind Knox/Kroft
  21. Unfortunately, extremely stupid people don't typically require encouragement to do dumb things. Bills Mafia is here to stay, my friend. The players love it. Almost every new player who signs or is drafted immediately tweets a shout out to the Bills Mafia. You can accept and embrace it or continue hollering at folks to get off your lawn.
