If we weren't going into year 3 with Daboll, year 3 with Josh, and hadn't added, over the last two years, such a slew of weapons, I might understand where you are coming from. My primary disagreement is in your assessment that just because they have played a lot of close, low scoring games "it is who they are" and " in their DNA." McD hasn't had an offense capable of carrying the load and has rightfully leaned on his defense, but the pieces appear to be in place now. I don't believe, if you asked McD, he would tell you he's comfortable getting a 10-pt lead and then taking his foot off the gas. But since we truthfully don't know how McD will coach with an above-average offense it's all speculation at this point.
