Kim Jones definitely has a hard-on for Josh Allen and the Bills. She was gushing with enthusiasm.

This is all setting up nicely to have our first fans in the stadium for the Thursday nighter vs. KC. -
Sirius NFL training camp today 3-6 pm Bills

Great interview with Josh. For the first time I can recall he talked about how he simply didn't have a lot of experience coming into the NFL -- something many of us have noted as to why he was so "raw" coming out and didn't have the huge college stats some guys yearn for and point to as reasons why he won't succeed at this level. Josh said, in a nutshell, that he didn't really "air it out" before getting to the NFL -- he only played two years in college and even in H.S. he was a 3-sport athlete so didn't focus on the mechanics of being a QB. He talked about how every QB throws a little differently and you have to "find your stroke" -- he feels like through the work he has put in with Jordan Palmer, as well as discussions with guys like Tony Romo (and he even mentioned Fitz) he is now "finding his stroke" and loves the way the ball is coming out. The sky is the limit for this kid; can't wait for him to quiet the know-it-all critics. -

Sounds like Kirwan and Miller aren't in OP...talking to Beane virtually. That sucks as they won't have been able to watch the practice. -

Well, it hasn’t been true since 1999 so... -
Ok, looks like nothing to see here, I’ll move on...

These Yearbooks were the only thing that got me through the drought. Every one had you thinking next season was going to be “the year.”

Thx for the heads up, I’ll give it a listen. If it’s like past years they will be “live” at camp but since practice is in the morning (I think) they’ll have taped interviews from earlier in the day. -
My god, Tre can't cover worth schitt.

Man, you sure like to accuse people of crying all the time yet you're the one with tears streaming down your cheeks.

Really glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read this.

Unfortunately, WNY is in the midst of a little "uptick" in cases so I'm guessing the timing isn't right for Cuomo to allow fans.

Checking in on Jets: O-Line and WRs STRUGGLING
eball replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read Albert Breer's MMQB this morning and you'd think the Jets are going to shock the world. Too funny. I'm with you on this -- even if Darnold going to "QB school" with Josh this summer results in him "closing his shoulder when throwing to the right" they are still pretty bad on offense. Oh, and isn't it interesting that Darnold apparently has/had mechanical issues? I thought only Josh Allen was a reclamation project. The Jets' D front is solid, but they lost their best LB and their best DB. The OL needed a real offseason to put it together. Bills by 10+. -
The best reporting on Bills camp came from the woman who was on site. She sounded genuinely excited after watching them practice, talking about the fun of watching Tre vs. Diggs, etc. The studio guys sort of rehashed what we've heard before from national folks -- Diggs is a big weapon, Josh is a young QB, defense is the key to them being good. Only Steve Smith seemed to suggest he thought the offense should take a big step forward and make them a true contender.

For somebody who claims to not take the Bills so seriously any more, Biscuit sure does get his panties in a wad in a heartbeat.

It's funny that you believe this is what most beat reporters are doing.

Great, thanks. I had managed to completely forget that prick ever existed.

Nah...I'm off the Duke train for good.

I don't think we can take for granted the security Roberts provides as a returner. How many times in the past have we had guys back there where you're holding your breath? Roberts is a true "specialist" and it appears he is serviceable at WR if needed as well. Plus, from the way he talked earlier in the summer he's certain they're going to be able to break some big returns this year. I think McD really wants to make ST a weapon. I'll be damn near shocked if Roberts doesn't make it. My preference is actually for them to keep 7 WRs and Hodgins would be #7.

Fish will have 13K fans for opener v. Bills
eball replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McD was asked about it and said "it's ridiculous." He's not happy with the uneven playing field of some stadiums with fans and some not. -
...so it will basically be their normal home crowd.
