This picture of a fan in a Bills jersey makes me cringe

What a strange thread. About threads. OP, if you’re going to contribute to this forum you can do better. -
Bills and Mets up against two Cuse teams...

Dawson Knox on CBS Sports Radio, 2:40PM EST
eball replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This should be interesting...I don't recall ever hearing an interview with Knox. -
Ha, Yankees lost to a Syracuse team in the 1st round. LOL

Shaq Lawson weighs in about some of our QBs.

Leave it to Scottlaw to have a guy he used to criticize suddenly become a wanted player when he’s no longer on the Bills. Buffalo upgraded their DL this offseason. Significantly. -
The article and this thread are one big “slam head against wall” emoji. Yes, I came here just to say that.

What a b.s. bracket. Bills and Sabres will be matched up against each other tonight.

9 NFL Bandwagons to hop aboard in 2020: Bills, Bucs top list
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can take or leave Schein -- his schtick gets old after a bit -- but he has ALWAYS loved the Bills' fan base and wanted the team to be worthy of the fans. He bashed Rex Ryan incessantly, and rightfully so, but pre-Ryan he supported Saint Doug and even Chan Gailey. -
Goodell Admits NFL Was Wrong Not to Listen
eball replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh really? Why do I have a hard time believing that? -
You root for the team your way and I'll root for them mine. Anyone can cherry pick a play or two from a game and blame the playcaller, but Daboll has hardly been given a full set of tools to work with before this season.

Goodell Admits NFL Was Wrong Not to Listen
eball replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well said. If you are one of the people telling sports journalists to “stick to sports” or telling players to “stick to playing” I think you need to take a good long look at yourself and ask why you are bored/disinterested/threatened by having these racial issues brought to the forefront for discussion. You, personally, may never be stopped at random by police solely because of your skin color, but why wouldn’t you want to be a part of talking about how to change that dynamic in our society? -
I can only hope that Daboll loves being a key part (OC) of a winning team in his hometown more than he wants to be a HC. Pipe dream, I know, but I think he'll quiet most of his critics this season and there's no doubt he has it upstairs to be running the show.

Did McD put together a great staff or what? He, Frazier, and Daboll make me proud to be a fan. These guys "get it" and have hit all the right notes in talking about the racial crisis.

Thanks for this perspective. It means a lot. -

Brees got "caught" in his failure to understand that a silent protest during the national anthem has nothing to do with "disrespecting the flag." He still doesn't get it. -
Jake Fromm: Controversial comments

It’s very, very difficult to determine whether apologies like Fromm’s and Brees’ are sincere. I tend to put merit in the notion that most apologies come because the offender was “caught” and not because they truly recognize their error. Brees is going to be given the benefit of the doubt because of who he is, as well as his record of service in the community. I don’t know how Fromm “proves” his sincerity; he certainly has an uphill climb. Does cutting him solve anything though? I’m not talking about the Buffalo Bills football team here, because Fromm wasn’t going to play a significant role for any foreseeable future (and might not even make the team). I’m talking about the notion that we give people an opportunity to redeem themselves and learn from mistakes. As Leslie Frazier said, the locker room will be able to sift what’s real from what’s not. If the Bills cut him, so be it, but I generally believe that knee-jerk reactions are not the way to go. -

When issues like this are being discussed, a lot of people should really remember the adage that it is better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. -
The fact that anyone still believes the silent NFL player protests during the anthem were about the flag or the military just saddens me.

Time killing, fun read on Bobby ‘the Slut’ Chandler#81
eball replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not keeping Knox was one of his biggest “save money” blunders of all time -
Yeah, the “company line” has always been to say how much they enjoy the environment, and I think McD certainly tries to get the best out of it, but now that they’ve built the culture, the team is experiencing success, and they have those awesome facilities in OP, the original reasons for going to Rochester (facilities, expand fan base) aren’t really an issue and staying in OP will save the team $$$.

Which players do we trade away during training camp?
eball replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s a pretty good list, although I don’t think they will be able to unload Hauschka’s salary and if he loses out to the rookie they’ll simply release him.
