  1. When I was a kid and first experienced Bills football my favorite three players were OJ, Fergie, and Chandler. Fun read; thanks for sharing that.
  2. Small price to pay for the chance of having football this fall.
  3. Me saying he is top half entering this season is not a purely numbers-based projection; it is wide-ranging and encompasses his anticipated growth as well as the coaching and talent around him.
  4. I disagree. Looking at what Josh has done and what he had to work with, combined with how raw he was coming into the NFL, he is arguably in the top half of NFL QBs entering the 2020 season. Yes, I'd trade him straight up for Russell Wilson today -- but I'd still hate to do it. Homer or not, I think Josh is going to go through the roof starting this year.
  5. You probably understood my point but took it too literally. I think for anyone to claim to "know" what Josh's NFL career trajectory will look like at this point is pure folly. The guy has 27 starts and was as raw as cookie dough coming to the NFL. In a couple of years I believe people are going to look back at what they thought today and say, "wow."
  6. What strikes me as odd is how many people think they "know" what Josh is and what he isn't. News flash: you don't.
  7. Nothing against Dak, but no thank you. Josh is about to become a superstar in this league.
  8. Not gonna have the patience to sit through this one...did he say Josh is inaccurate and can never be better?
  9. Question for all of the knuckleheads in this thread: Is it better or worse for the Buffalo Bills offense that nearly every skill position player got together at the invitation of their starting QB to run what have been described as extremely structured, detailed drills in advance of training camp and the season?
  10. I don’t think I’d say Barkley “has promise” but Webb and Fromm certainly do. The tough call for McD and Beane is because Barkley and Josh are clearly very good friends. It remains to be seen just what they value in the QB room the most but if Webb and Fromm are just as much “good guys” as Barkley we could see a change.
  11. When I see “GreggTX” on a post I immediately keep scrolling. Some of the worst takes I’ve ever seen on this board.
  12. Good points, @tumaro02 — and to clarify for others who may not know, Josh “organized” the workouts (I.e., invited everyone and got them all at the same hotel, etc.) but it is Webb who is “running” the practices. The quotes were about how disciplined things were being run, which is awesome. I also liked that they made sure every time Diggs was running a route Josh was the QB, even if it was not during his designated “turn” in the rotation.
  13. Hey, I’m just showing up to poop in everyone’s cereal bowl and remind you this is a stupid video that means nothing about anything because shorts and no defense and Diggs is a cancer and Josh is inaccurate and why is Lee Smith there and lots of other reasons.
  14. Read that interesting tidbit in an article on the front page this morning. Players talking about how detailed and knowledgeable Webb is in multiple offenses, and how he basically organized and ran the practices. We might have a dark horse candidate for backup QB who was already on the roster.
  15. At all. Before the Bills went out and brought in who they did, and drafted AJ, you could have envisioned a scenario in which they signed Clowney...but not now.
  16. Nobody from the McD era was going to make this list because they were only here for 30% of the decade. It’s a completely inane discussion to come up with an MVP for a lost decade.
  17. Save your breath, Yolo. There is a contingent who, for some reason, look for the possible negative consequences of everything the Bills do, waiting to pounce. I don’t know how they enjoy being fans but to each his own.
  18. Augie, I think we are well positioned. If Josh becomes the player I think he can be, the Bills will be in this conversation for the next decade.
  19. Love Tre, but Josh is my QB. I love the underdog story, the fact that so many “experts” are SO invested in him being a bust...and he’s going to make them all eat schitt.
  20. Baltimore is a fantastic organization. I’m glad Buffalo is becoming one as well.
  21. You should female once or twice, it's more fun.
  22. Yeah, I was just going to post something similar. Nobody EVER questioned AB's work ethic on the football field. If Diggs is training with him that's not a bad thing. At all.
  23. Perhaps this should go into another thread, but there is some reason to believe the AFC East is about to enter an era of intense competition and parity. Bills: solid management and coaching and most talented team in the division Jets: improved front office, questionable coach, talent at QB Fish: appears to be much improved front office, coach with good potential, young QB projected to be good Pats***: still have Belichick The key here is that there might be three really good QBs in the division. What we as Bills fans have to hope is that our guys (Beane and McD) are just that much better than the other guys.
  24. I’m so glad we are past the days when we overrated marginal players because we had such a dearth of talent on the roster. Good for Jack’s grandson.
