  1. I think we should take a moment to reflect upon the career of 2019 Embedded star Nick Easley. Peace, Nick.
  2. Haha, yes, they did sign them. Well done.
  3. But Beane was sleeping and should have gotten a draft pick! Beane 1, know-it-all fans 0.
  4. I don’t think there is a single factually accurate thing about this post. Amazing.
  5. Nobody is talking about him because he hasn’t been in pads since suffering the injury, and you just can’t predict how well or quickly he will get back to form. Nobody has “forgotten” him, that’s for sure.
  6. He fits the defense perfectly, is a playmaker, wants to be here, and doesn’t give the impression he wants to break the bank. This is exactly the type of player you extend for market value, hoping for perhaps a small hometown discount.
  7. What, can’t answer the question?
  8. Who has Beane signed to "max deals?" And while you're at it, please explain what that even means.
  9. So, this Farwell character apparently enjoys dishing out the praise, eh?
  10. This is an appropriate last stop for Hogan as he completes his HOF career...
  11. Yup. As difficult as it is to find a franchise QB, you can’t overlook the change in culture (McD) and reshaping of the roster (Beane) and put all of the eggs in the Josh Allen basket. I think the Pegulas understand that. Hopefully it will all be a moot point.
  12. I’m not picking on you specifically, but in my opinion “worrying” about when other teams might become good is a waste of time. As Bills fans we have suffered for a very long time, but we need to start realizing that things have changed. With the leadership now in place the Bills are poised to become one of those four or five teams you look at as being “in the mix” each and every season. Who cares what the other teams do? And by the way, I loved the Bills-Fish rivalry of the 80s and 90s. If that returns, so be it.
  13. I’m really sorry you can’t understand a basic argument. Daboll has been here two years and he started with a raw rookie QB. His offense improved from year one to year two. What logic suggests that firing him makes sense?
  14. I see a ton of 11 from Daboll in this one, forcing them into nickel and taking major advantage of their DBs and LBs.
  15. I really don’t know who you’re arguing with. I’ve said pretty consistently I expect the offense to improve this season.
  16. Why in the world would I expect the same results this year?
  17. Great? Who knows, but there will be plenty of good ones.
  18. Yep -- admittedly one that had no practical implications.
  19. @GunnerBill I think when it's clear that either the coach or GM decision was a mistake, and the power structure is such that both report to the owner(s), you definitely have the potential for what appears to be "meddling" by an owner. Looking back at 2016, by the end of the season the Pegulas knew Rex would be gone so they acted to protect their "investment" (Tyrod) in a meaningless game. I don't recall the specifics relating to Tyrod, though -- did that move cost him any bonus money?
  20. Ohhhhh...you mean the W16 decision in 2016...gotcha.
  21. T.Y. McGill was the fourth. Looks like they're going to keep some guys on speed dial if injuries/corona hit.
  22. You think the Pegulas played a role in McD sitting Tyrod in 2017? That's curious; I've never heard that take before.
  23. Temporary declines in the cap never impact the elite players (and rookie deals). The group of players impacted is always the same -- aging veterans who are now underperforming their contracts and highly paid backups. Both will be replaced by rookies and guys looking for "prove it" deals.
  24. Singletary's injury in W2 played a significant role in how the RBs were used. Gore also started out playing extremely well. This season they've hopefully got two young, healthy backs ready to roll right out of the gate. I look back at Singletary's performance in the playoff game and get excited about what this season holds.
  25. I think it's easier to predict RB success than that. RB is probably the easiest transition from college to the pros, and typically the only thing you hear that takes time to learn is picking up blitzes if they didn't have to do that in college. Moss is a stud.
