  1. I may be in the minority, but I think McKenzie is underrated by many. Sure hands, quick as a rabbit, and knows the offense. He's much more dependable than Duke, for example. If you put him in as the 4th WR and start doing things with motion you can put a lot of speed out there and pressure the defense. Just my $.02...
  2. You may want to review the roster depth chart at WR during his time there. This was well documented when he was drafted last year.
  3. Ok, I think you should have simply said he doesn't have a lot of experience at the position, because physically he is a perfect "natural" fit for today's NFL TE. As for catching ability -- he made some extremely difficult catches last year and admitted his drops were because he took his attention away before securing the ball. I don't see a guy who struggles to catch -- I see a guy who was looking to make big plays and just needs to learn to complete the catch first (which he said he has done). I guess we'll find out soon enough.
  4. Umm, this isn't going to happen. Roberts is an All-Pro returner. My prediction for the 53: Diggs Brown Beasley Davis Roberts McKenzie Practice Squad: Hodgins Williams Easley
  5. I think Duke getting a chance last year was a nice story, and his TD against the Titans was great. That said, he is what he is — a big guy who isn’t very fast, doesn’t get great separation, and couldn’t crack a Bills’ lineup yearning for a “tough catch” guy for most of the year. When he got his big chance in the playoffs and Josh looked his way it was a disappointment. It will be a shock to me if he makes this team given who the Bills drafted and with the addition of Diggs.
  6. He was the only guy on the roster supposedly capable of making contested catches, and then he really let the team down in Houston.
  7. Hell yeah. The Bills drop a reserve O-lineman and he immediately gets snatched up by a Super Bowl participant.
  8. Have you rewatched Josh’s 2nd half of the playoff game? While it seems to be almost universally accepted as fact that Josh “blew it” because of a couple of head scratchers, his receiving corps let him down BIG time. He threw some absolute dimes that were dropped or misplayed. I am super optimistic about his progression and think we’re in for a hell of a good time as Bills fans.
  9. Who are needed for practice. Let’s not pretend Beane doesn’t know how to work the system or somehow “screwed up” not holding onto Long to get a draft pick.
  10. My hope is that Darryl Johnson makes a big jump from y1 to y2 and makes Murphy expendable.
  11. If I knew or gave a damn about who “Michael Nania” is that might make a difference in how I view his opinion.
  12. If this happens (triple header on Saturday) I really hope they nix Thursday night football. You know the players and coaches want it gone.
  13. I’d put the Bills at about -10 right now in their opener against the Jets. No Adams, no Moseley, and with the continuity the Bills are bringing to the table this one could be a rout.
  14. I’m wondering what’s going to show up on my bill. A couple of months ago I called them when I was seeing posts from people who were notified that they were getting ST Max for free. I got to a loyalty rep who empathized with me but said it was apparently a random thing. She gave me $300 off my bill as a courtesy. When I look at my account currently it shows the ST Max renewal but for $0.00. Next month is when the first of six payments typically hits so I’m curious if I’m going to get it for free or not. If they do charge me I think I’ll call back and b-I-t-c-h some more.
  15. That’s a really excellent idea if you can’t get the Ticket.
  16. Milano is absolutely the kind of player you want to keep for as long as you can, and he is wired differently with respect to material things. I think he's a minimalist. Probably has saved most of his NFL income so far.
  17. That's cool, I didn't have a strong reaction either way. It's just how it came across to me. I'll never understand the logic of extremely religious people so their message is largely lost on me. I'm more of a "do the right thing because it's the right thing to do" kind of guy.
  18. Eh, I think Fromm’s response was questionable also. Why not just say we need to love all people equally? He makes it sound as though the only people capable of this have to be Jesus freaks first.
  19. They're hiding in the weeds right now...waiting for the first blown replay challenge, poorly used timeout, or Pat DiMarco go route...
  20. I think Krueger is the right coach. We'll see if Adams is the right GM.
  21. Ugh. If I was forced to listen to the Murph feed I might pick a different favorite team.
  22. You mean the fewer than 3% opt outs with no superstars in that mix? This season will feel a bit odd because of COVID and no fans in the stands, not the opt outs, and as long as they keep any outbreaks from happening they are still playing pro football and a Super Bowl championship will be perfectly legitimate. Nobody puts an asterisk next to Washington’s SB win over Miami and they only played a 9-game season.
  23. Shaq Lawson just made it onto the COVID list.
