  1. @machine gun kelly Duke didn’t opt out, he was placed on the COVID list.
  2. The Singletary/Moss touch ratio will wind up at around 70/30, I think.
  3. Not sure what your agenda is, but calling Allen injury prone in the NFL is inaccurate.
  4. Give him a break. I have plenty of friends who are Mecks a cans also.
  5. Ridiculous comparison. Tua hasn't played a down of football since his injury. I think 2+ years of a predominantly healthy NFL history supports my opinion concerning Josh Allen.
  6. Not in the pros he doesn't. One freak hit on his elbow, and a head-knocker. I'm going to continue to ignore what happened in college and focus on recent history.
  7. I think the Bills were ready to move on from Star after this season, and it sucks that he will now have such a huge dead cap hit if they cut him in 2021. For him, though, it was probably the smart thing to do.
  8. During his PRO career Josh has missed 4 games (2018) and a quarter (2019). Basically, over his last 23 games he only missed the 4th quarter of the first NE*** game. I don't call that injury prone for an NFL QB.
  9. Josh is injury prone? He got hurt once in his rookie season and missed a few games. Now if you say his style of play puts him at risk to take more hits I'll buy that, but injury prone is not accurate.
  10. Buf716 is not having the greatest run on this board recently...
  11. That’s correct, the decision is final once made. I just would have thought any players considering the opt-out would have already discussed this with their families/agents prior to reporting to training camp for COVID testing. But you’re right, there are probably still some guys on the fence and as Yolo noted, perhaps the paperwork being filed is another delay.
  12. Right, but wouldn’t you think they’d have made their decisions before reporting?
  13. [getting back on track] So Star is the only Buffalo opt-out at this point? Everyone had to report to camp yesterday for their first COVID test so maybe we’re in the clear?
  14. Mickey Rooney never looked better.
  15. Foles opting out? Wow, that's bad for the Bears.
  16. Guys, can we keep the baseball talk out of the football opt out thread please?
  17. I don't know if you knew this, but Buscaglia went to FSU so he likely followed EJ's college career very closely. To his credit he never liked the pick and was pretty spot on.
  18. There was literally no path for Ray Ray to make this roster, particularly without preseason.
  19. I'm thinking about limiting my league to 10 owners and expanding the rosters.
  20. Sorry man, it sounded to me like you were agreeing with the other two about politics being "too much to take" in football. As for this board, there are lots of threads simply talking about players and the sport so I think it's pretty easy to avoid the political stuff if you want to. Cheers.
  21. The six guys who voted Allen Tier 4 are morons.
  22. @Inigo Montoya, @BillsRdue, and @machine gun kelly — how, precisely, is the NFL “too political” such that it has impacted your ability to watch a football game? Sorry, I don’t get it. It seems to me a lot of you want to run around like ostriches with your heads in the sand. I’m pretty sure players aren’t going to stop in the middle of a game to make political statements. If you’re still on the “I don’t like kneeling” bandwagon go get yourself a beer before the game starts. This whining over “just play football” is pretty ridiculous, and it also serves to further the notion that professional athletes’ opinions on issues are not important.
  23. Talk about being pleasantly surprised. Funny that I don’t see any of our resident Josh Allen critics in this thread. Are we all still stupid homers now that the players have put Allen in the top 100? This has to make Josh feel good, knowing he is respected by his peers despite constantly being hammered by the analytics crowd and those who predicted “bust.”
  24. In a nutshell, I think it's as simple as a highly motivated successful individual wanting to go out on his own terms. You have to understand that, right?
