  1. The Bills are a historic franchise. Beane will be a God if (when) the Bills reach a level of sustained success and he will stay here as long as he is able to do what he thinks needs to be done. The only reason Polian left was because of conflict with Ralph. Same with Butler. I'm not worried about another "historic" franchise wooing him away. Anyway, that's a "concern" to think about down the road, not today...
  2. Nah. Not true. It's just a promotion (and pay raise) for a guy who deserves it. He was never going to leave for another DC job somewhere else.
  3. This has me thinking a McD extension is going to be announced very shortly.
  4. Agree completely...I hope the drops are just a matter of concentration and maturity, because the kid has some serious skill.
  5. Judging from her Insta, I can only ASSume Rachel knows what she's talking about.
  6. Stay classy, Bills fans!
  7. Not a fan, eh? That's a shame.
  8. Particularly when the opinions are nothing more than regurgitated takes you've heard over and over!
  9. Larry did a great interview with Howard Stern a few years ago, and said that he (Larry) thinks he could be a good offensive coordinator. It was awesome.
  10. Prediction: there won't be a single game on the Bills' schedule this season in which they are more than a 4-pt underdog, and they'll be favored in the majority of their games. Perhaps KC will be a small favorite in Buffalo but otherwise the Bills will be favored in all of their home games. On the road they'll be favored in five games (Arizona, Vegas, Miami, Denver, Jets) and in the other three (Tennessee, Pats***, 49ers) I don't see more than a 4-pt. spread. The Bills are legit and everyone in the league knows it. The difference between a 10-6 record and a 12-4 or 13-3 mark will be how much Josh Allen and the offense improve. The Bills have arrived. Time to stop wringing our hands and worrying -- they're going to be a handful for anyone they play.
  11. Gee...that's...great.
  12. Yeah I've got to go with this. I wanted to say the Dallas game because I was so happy to see the Bills perform at that level on a national stage, but hearing Al Michaels' almost incredulous tone when Josh hit Kroft for the go-ahead TD was fantastic.
  13. This analysis is "interesting" only if you completely ignore everything that happened in a guy's playing career leading up to his first NFL season. Are all QBs at the same level of development entering the NFL? Do all QBs receive the same coaching/talent/organization to work with? Do all QBs possess the same motivational drive to get better/be great? What a waste of a thread.
  14. Announcer at start of 2nd half of Cuse-NC just confirmed my disgust at the misuse of the phrase “unanswered points.” Quote: ”North Carolina scored 17 unanswered points in the first half, which were then answered by 11 straight Syracuse points.” Morons.
  15. Those of us who have been reasonably astute in our predictions during the McBeane regime (pats self on back) have said all along that 2020 is the year the Bills become one of the "big boys" in the NFL. The culture is in place, the expectations are there, the QB is entering his 3rd year, and there are resources to add the needed pieces to complete the roster.
  16. Great, great listen for those who don't have a predisposed notion to discredit anything Palmer says about Allen.
  17. Oh brother. Just don't visit a Jordan Palmer thread if you aren't going to accept anything he says because he is Allen's paid coach, ok? It will save you a lot of trouble and it will save us from having to read this when we are actually interested in what he's saying.
  18. This is a true "love it or hate it" track. It's a little gimmicky, and totally a target course. If you can't hit your clubs somewhat consistently you'll be in trouble all day. That said, I really enjoy playing there. It's unique and (I think) a fun layout. Makes you think about each shot. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginning golfer but if your handicap is under 20 I think you'd enjoy it.
  19. There’s no debate here. You’re a miserable fan who won’t acknowledge progress until a Lombardi is hoisted, which is ludicrous. I’m one of the most tolerant people you’ll never meet (that’s not a typo). I’d wish you a nice day but I know you’re incapable of having one because somebody hasn’t lived up to your standards.
  20. It is most certainly not a "loss." If you really think the Bills -- both then and now -- would have been better off keeping Dareus, I don't know what to tell you.
  21. Fork in the road? Geesh, you "show me" guys just keep moving the goalposts. It's amazing how you can't even bring yourself to admit that the organization is in its best shape in a couple of decades. Just remarkable.
  22. That's pretty cool. I've attended two US Opens at Pinehurst...went on both Friday and Sunday in 2005, and on Sunday in 2014.
