It's somewhat satisfying and refreshing to see an "old guard" poster such as @BillsVet -- who has been one of those critics you cite -- recognize that whether they got there in the way he would have done it or not, the Bills have established themselves as one of the stronger franchises in the league. It's a good thread.

My online book has the o/u on defensive players at 15.5, but the under is -185 while the over is +135. On offense the o/u is 16.5...over is -220 and under is +160.

There's nothing wrong with trading up if by doing so you acquire a starter or significant contributor. Beane locked down two of the most important positions on the field (QB, MLB) with three of his trade-ups, and Ford and Knox look to be starters for a while as well. Remember for so many years how boring the Bills were on draft day? Just staying in the slot and picking. I enjoy Beane's wheeling and dealing.

Ding-ding-ding, we have a winner. Never felt more confident about a Bills FO going into a draft.

I'll remember Fergy for two things -- a great arm and that classic "hang dog" look after a pick. 2nd best Bills QB in their history.

I think this is about an 80% probability. It doesn't happen if either the corner they want is gone or some other player they had a 1st round grade on has dropped.

Irresponsible post. That is literally the only mention of McDermott’s alleged concern in the entire article, and is essentially hearsay. The Pegulas are a target of Graham right now. They’ve made mistakes, certainly, but to imply McDermott is worried is jumping the gun.
