  1. Prove my statement wrong. Hey buddy, there are a couple of other guys in this thread you should start hanging out with...the three of you together would be a hoot.
  2. And did you hear his interview earlier this week? The dude LOVES it in Buffalo.
  3. If you have an Athletic subscription read this: https://theathletic.com/1867212/?source=player
  4. He doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. He's still on the "jilted girlfriend" level with the Bills, trying desperately to prove how little he needs them or cares. Very Trumpian, too, in how he accuses others of doing things they haven't done but says them repeatedly so they seem to be fact.
  5. Ralph is cheap.
  6. Is anyone else really intrigued by OL Trey Adams? This guy was going to be a beast before getting hurt. He's gotta be super motivated as well. Dark horse for the 53, or at least the PS?
  7. Unfortunately you must also deal with the BPLODM -- the Bill Parcells Law Of Diminishing Returns. Whenever he goes somewhere there is an immediate uptick, some period of success, and then a falloff before he silently exits. Also, McD's style is nothing like Parcells'. But I see where you're going with the turnaround angle.
  8. Well done. Your guys in red that I'd change to blue: RB: Jones WR: McKenzie OL: Bates, Boehm DL: Johnson CB: Jackson
  9. Seriously. You're a buffoon. Did I call McD a top 5 coach? Compare him to BB? Say he has nothing to improve upon? Of course not. But anyone who doesn't recognize that locking up McD for the long term based upon what he has done in Buffalo is a great thing is (sorry @DC Tom) an idiot.
  10. If @ScottLaw and @C.Biscuit97 took their hot takes on McDermott to literally anyone "in the know" in NFL circles they'd be laughed out of the room. Too funny.
  11. Umm, no. It's called taking a completely dysfunctional organization and immediately turning it into one that is now consistently praised throughout the NFL.
  12. Sorry, not a lick of this is true. Irsay traded with the Panthers for Polian. He gave them a 3rd round pick to allow Polian to leave.
  13. You're right. I mean, taking a team to the playoffs that hadn't been there in 17 seasons twice in three years really only says, "I need to see more."
  14. Must be peanuts because everyone knows the Pegulas are going broke. But seriously...why do you care?
  15. This times 1000. Gase is the guy you keep locked away in a room by himself working on schemes. He is one of the worst leaders at the HC position I've ever seen.
  16. Brelund had Houston ranked really low...like in the low teens.
  17. Aside from one blown assignment the Bills defended the Ravens pretty damn well last season.
  18. I don’t remember if this was posted somewhere else but I saw that NFLN’s Cynthia Brelund ranked the Bills’ WR room 5th in the league. Only the Saints, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bucs were higher.
  19. By a long shot...he's older than Stefon Diggs!
  20. Somebody probably already said it, but there is a "poaching period" from Sunday to Tuesday during which no PS players are protected. Then, on Tuesday afternoon a team can protect up to four for the upcoming week. Poaching is likely to be a negligible issue this year, though, because a player won't even be able to get into another team's facility for five days with the testing process. So you poach knowing that guy won't be able to play for you that week.
  21. I never thought we'd have college football. Unlike the NFL, which can set strict standards across all franchises, the NCAA isn't nearly organized enough to do the same and the wild disparity in facilities across the college landscape makes keeping everyone safe a daunting challenge. Then, you have the athletes themselves. The pros are being paid a schitt-ton of money, are more or less mature, most have families, and they know their livelihoods are on the line so they are more likely to behave outside of the facility. College kids? Umm, pretty much the opposite except for the roughly 2% who have legitimate dreams of a pro career.
  22. My point was in response to "they were only 4th and 6th round picks" -- in such a deep class that means less than it might ordinarily...
  23. I don’t know why, but I found myself rewatching this season’s “Embedded” that took us through the Bills’ pre-draft process. What stuck out is how Beane said at the combine, when they were watching the WRs, something to the effect of “gosh, there are so many good ones this year.” Don’t underestimate the Beaner.
