  1. Zay has somehow managed to craft himself a pretty lengthy career by NFL standards at this point. I still can’t figure out what happened to him; he caught everything at ECU but then lost his confidence or something. And then there was that wild Vegas incident. Oh well, if we’re going to start threads about Bills’ draft picks who didn’t work out this is as good as any.
  2. That’s an interesting analysis and I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I think what rankles many fans is that Edmunds was a 1st round draft pick the Bills traded up to get, and you kinda expect those guys to be impact playmakers, not “dirty/selfless” role players.
  3. Well, not everyone...but I get your point. This was another low risk, high upside signing by Beane — a player who appears to be on the upswing of his career and has a chance to make the Bills better or deeper.
  4. Horrible take. You don’t know jack-schitt about JW, and he’s anything but a “hack.” If you’re not still concerned about getting our country and the world to herd immunity by getting everyone vaccinated, and you’re ignoring science, you’ve got your head in the sand. These dumb takes are akin to the “players shouldn’t talk politics, only football” neanderthal mindset. Football is a GAME. There are much more important issues in life. Edit: I completely "get it" that the Bills have decided not to address vaccine/Covid issues with the media. That's fine. I just won't bash a reporter for still trying to get an answer.
  5. Anyone else get the feeling that if the Bills had to line up and play a game in two weeks they'd be ready to roll? I can't believe it is still around 100 days until W1. This is a well-oiled machine.
  6. The old man was slipping. Apparently another pasty-faced Dookie will be replacing him...Jon Scheyer.
  7. Re: Sanders, the numbers don’t really suggest he is in decline. In several areas his numbers last season were at or better than his career averages. I look back at the KC game and imagine if we had a healthy Sanders with his short-area separation ability. Of course, we now know that none of the Bills’ top three WRs were anywhere close to full strength, but Sanders trumps Brown in overall skill. Folks can debate the contract $$ but I don’t understand the “style fit” concern.
  8. If KC’s message boards are anything like this one their fans are predicting an 8-9 season based upon that assessment.
  9. One of the most interesting storylines is how this game vaulted the two teams in opposite directions. It was essentially the "beginning" of the Bills' great SB runs and dropped Denver, at least for that season, into mediocrity.
  10. I was really enjoying this thread until I read Wacka’s post. Damn.
  11. Good post @Rochesterfan...pretty much sums up my thoughts exactly.
  12. I'll just drop this in here... https://twitter.com/AaronQuinn716/status/1399800987951509504
  13. Josh is so smooth, I can't wait until he drops a veiled reference to his "arrogant arm" in some post-game interview this season.
  14. Pete Prisco's opinion on the top 100 NFL players means about as much to me as BADOL's opinion on Star Lotulelei.
  15. Serious question...does accelerating his up front payment have tax implications for Diggs? I mean, if there is literally nothing but a benefit to Diggs to do this it seems like it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
  16. As I’ve said many, many times before...PFF is short for pfffffft.
  17. Never thought of Culpepper as having a “big arm” — his long throws were balloons, he just had Randy Moss to catch them. A little surprised Lamonica didn’t make this list. I mean, a guy with the nickname “The Mad Bomber” should have been there, right?
  18. Man, you guys are gluttons for punishment.
  19. No other NFL games. Will probably go to a couple of UNC games this year, particularly since the Heels are going to be pretty damn good.
  20. 60 is way too young. RIP
  21. So, prior to last season the rankings had Josh at #87, which was somewhat controversial in that many felt he didn’t belong there. After his breakout 2020 season, finishing 2nd in MVP voting and getting to the AFC Championship game, where will he fall? I’m predicting top 5. Thoughts?
