  1. More base D (3 LBs) in an effort to stop the run. I'd be surprised to see anything different. If you're going to lose to the Ravens' offense you must make them beat you in the air.
  2. Yeldon. Was there ever a doubt? Come on, people.
  3. Nope, I don't see divas in our WR room, but if they get banged around early and the calls aren't coming I want them to fight back.
  4. The only thing I'm worried about is our receivers becoming frustrated because defensive PI or illegal contact are not being called. The refs basically swallowed their whistles in the secondary in our first game and I think that held true around the league. You had better believe the Ravens know this and will have their physical secondary playing even more physical. Our WRs need to go into this game with the mindset of knocking the bully in the mouth, not crying for a foul.
  5. Those are fun to watch. It amazes me how tight some of those throwing windows are.
  6. should HAVE INdisputable Cheers, I'm out.
  7. This uniform combo IS the Buffalo Bills. Well done.
  8. But let me say in defense of wine...
  9. Yeah, and you'd be wrong. Different situation, different circumstances.
  10. Stop posting by dictation...or when drunk.
  11. That's pretty harsh. Nothing I've heard about Gabe Davis suggests he's not a good tipper.
  12. Good luck getting any stories.
  13. Well, it was a dead giveaway to be fair...
  14. Yeah, I agree with this, the Bills don't have anyone good enough to be sure to tackle Lamar one-on-one. It's also why I don't think we'll play much nickel. Play a solid base D focused on stopping the run and forcing throws to the outside.
  15. They don't have to. The word is out -- high character guys want to play in Buffalo.
  16. Fans and media, sure -- we saw that play out on this board. Players? I doubt it. Josh had a ton of "splash" plays in his rookie year and you could see the potential as well as the hard work -- it was obvious even then his teammates loved and respected him. Where were Tua's "wow" moments this season?
  17. It's called character. There's a reason Beane and McD go after the players they do.
  18. I didn't watch that game so I'll take your word for it. I'd have to assume they gave Mahomes enough time.
  19. I think nickel only works against the Ravens if the 5th DB is down in the box as run support/spy on Lamar. I agree with you on Klein. I absolutely believe the Bills will force Baltimore to beat us through the air, and the book on Lamar thus far is to force him to throw outside the numbers. There are two things you can’t do against a Baltimore defense — run between the tackles and wait for long developing routes. They are vulnerable on the outside, and I assure you Daboll knows this. I don’t think he’ll be fooled into trying to run up the middle.
  20. Significant snow, as opposed to a dusting/sleet/slick surface, is a completely different animal. If there’s lots of snow all bets are off...and yes, Shady seemed to love it. I remember his comments about Allen as well. I think players know it when they see it.
  21. Practice photos from today have the offense in blue. It will be blue on white or all blues on Saturday, folks. 👍
  22. Yeah, I'm thinking the NFL probably prohibits the "alternative" uniforms or different helmet decals during the playoffs. Bills can go all blue, all white, or a combo. No red, no throwback helmet.
  23. For three quarters the D did exactly what it was designed to do -- require the Colts to have long sustained drives and keep them out of the end zone. I have no idea what happened on those long runs in the 4th. That was just weird, and made a game that should have been over turn into a knee-knocker.
  24. Dead wrong. Slick conditions favor the offense in general, but more specifically the passing game. The WRs know where they are going, the DBs don't. Stopping/starting/cutting is more difficult. That is actually a bit tougher on the run game as well. This ^^^^ guy gets it.
