  1. Dude. Nobody's saying a player would voluntarily walk away from a multimillion dollar payday but that doesn't mean everything else Star said isn't true. Money or not, these guys put their bodies through hell to play this game at a high level. If you're not "all in" you're doing yourself and your team a disservice. You are simply so hell bent on your trashing of Star you won't even allow the slightest crack of light to shine through the door that perhaps he can be a productive member of the Bills' D line this season. Apparently Beane is lying, McD is lying, his teammates are lying -- all for what? Beane hasn't shown he's afraid to admit a contract mistake and move on, and McD makes everyone earn their playing time. What is the angle here? Oh, that's right -- you know everything about football and we're all just here to soak in your wisdom. Party on.
  2. It’s a unique “gift” to always be able to immediately go to the most negative, pessimistic explanation for a player’s statement or actions. Well done, you.
  3. Those are the seven I hope we go into the season with, with Stevenson winning the KR/PR job in camp.
  4. This "June doesn't matter, July does" take is interesting. I mean, hasn't Tua been working all offseason? All of my Alabama apologist friends said Tua wasn't healthy last year and this year will be different. Does he need just one more month of healing?
  5. This is an article about Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers.
  6. Should pin this thread for the next few days…just sayin’
  7. 50? WTF? Is that some “earn your pro QB number” b.s. like Greggggggg Williams used to do with earning the stripe on your helmet or something? Jesus. Eff the Pats***.
  8. The answer is yes. He has won a LOT of football games in his career. Jackson will get paid as long as he can run, and I think Harbaugh believes they can put enough around him to overcome the passing game limitations.
  9. Actually, no, you couldn’t. Not if you watched the games.
  10. The only thing I’ve discredited is that Josina Anderson has any reliable info about the Bills’ plans. Players talk to her. Great. She also posts a lot of “look at me” crap. I’m not saying she doesn’t get legitimate info but on a topic like this I’m not buying that she is tied in to anything.
  11. Because the Bills don't leak this stuff...and particularly not to an Instagram model wannabe.
  12. I believe it’s going to be Knox (unless the Bills acquire Ertz). I believe in the kid and his teammates have raved about him. It’s been about learning the position and it sounds as though he has put a lot of effort in this offseason. Otherwise, I would love for it to be Phillips. Such a great guy; if he can tap back into that potential we saw early on it would be awesome. Also, don’t sleep on Justin Zimmer.
  13. It’s almost chartreuse, but not quite.
  14. Color me skeptical of Josina having any inside info on the Bills.
  15. Huh? Maybe my sarcasm meter is on the blink. A popular line at the time..."guns don't kill people. Nigel Bradham kills people."
  16. Best backup QB in the league and it isn't close.
  17. To this day I remember the game against Tampa in 2000 that really ended it for Sam. He had three sacks or something like that in the 1st half and was dominating the game, then tore his achilles (I think). The Bills collapsed in the 4th and started a spiral that took them out of playoff contention.
  18. I read that this morning. It's a really, really weird piece; the reporter makes himself look like the guy whose girlfriend left him and now he's following her around to tell everyone else she's no good in bed.
  19. I hadn’t paid enough attention to know about the two week thing but it’s a rare instance of a league decision that benefits both the players AND the teams.
  20. Take a look at where Fergie’s stats were when he hung the cleats up. Overrated? Ha. Also, you’re dead wrong on your college vs. pro assessment, and comparing 80s players to current players is pure folly.
  21. Man, I hope so, because it means the Bills are in for a lot of good football. If it's still being debated in 15 years Josh will have won his share of them.
