  1. I think the question has been put to rest already, although I understand if some may disagree.
  2. So, I read a recent article (in The Athletic I think) about catching up with "The Coach" Chuck Dickerson. If you can find it you should read it. You'd realize that EVEN IN BUFFALO these radio hosts are not talking about things they believe, they are saying things that will create the most controversy and drive listeners/callers. The only place you get folks actually talking about what they believe is on a network that is not dependent upon advertising revenue -- like the Bills' OBL show -- but on that one you have to be cognizant that they won't overly criticize the hand that feeds them either. This is really the best place to get a dichotomy of opinion and "real talk." I don't listen to talk radio (besides Howard) much at all.
  3. Plus Horrible Harry is starting to step up and Zimmer has been a really nice find.
  4. Beasley not on the first injury report. That’s significant.
  5. On the topic of uniforms, I did some Googling and it appears that teams may wear their alternate uniforms a maximum of three times during the season but only once in the playoffs (which is counted among the three total). Teams in the Super Bowl must wear their standard uniforms.
  6. I lived in Buffalo from ‘90-93 but kept my seasons (in Georgia, then NC) until 2017. Rex was my breaking point. I’ve thought about getting them again, but aside from this year’s crazy playoff scenario of limited seating I’ve always been able to buy the seats I wanted to the games I wanted to attend.
  7. My buddy who is a huge Alabama fan nearly lost his s-h-i-t when I asked him what elite skills Tua has after the last game of the season. He went into a rant about how he was the most accurate QB he had ever seen, is a better athlete (faster) than Jalen Hurts, and blamed any lackluster performance this season on (a) not having any weapons; (b) not having a running game; and (c) his hip and not getting enough rehab to regain his strength and explosiveness. I dunno, I saw a guy who definitely wasn’t explosive so there could be some truth to this, but if so then WHY would Flores insist on playing him when Fitz was doing well? My take on Tua after watching about three games of his is that his arm is average at best, he IS very accurate, but he doesn’t make very many “wow” plays at all and I’m not sure exactly what teams would fear about him. He looks like he could be a slightly above average NFL QB because of his accuracy and intelligence but I don’t see a superstar.
  8. LOL -- you'd be lucky to get in the stadium for less than $7500 a seat.
  9. The newest (final) Star Wars trilogy was just fine...nothing is ever going to satisfy the Uber-nerds. I’m a big fan of the series, disliked Episodes I and II immensely, but thoroughly enjoyed everything else. The Godfather Part III was actually pretty good...but what can stand up to I and II? Worst mistake in that movie was Coppola’s casting of his daughter Sofia. Her aside it was an excellent flick. Caddyshack II is an absolute mess. Speaking of Chevy Chase sequels, Fletch Lives was a horrible follow-up to one of the funniest (and most quotable) originals of all time.
  10. Your response of “damn” suggests you were hoping for something else. That’s all.
  11. Do you have a photo of her holding a fish?
  12. Fixed for accuracy. Oh, and if you’re trying to play the “I’m a better fan than you” card to a guy who travels to games from North Carolina try something else.
  13. In what world did you envision the Bills wearing blue jerseys on the road? KC always wears red at home.
  14. White on blue looked pretty good in the 1981 playoffs vs. the Jets...
  15. You and I disagree on the definition of "tight" apparently. And since when do you parrot Chris Brown -- whom I've heard you ridicule as "state radio" ad nauseum? Josh was making "wow" throws early in that game and he hit Davis in the hands for what should have been a TD. The deep shots were clearly affected by the wind. I'm just not seeing the "tightness" you speak of. There weren't any drops besides Gabe's.
  16. I'll add, when looking at the HOF I always ask myself "can you tell the story of the NFL without mentioning this guy?" With Rivers my answer is, "probably."
  17. Probably gets into HOF but is really one of those "Hall of Really Good" players. 5-7 playoff W-L record, QB rating 10 pts. lower in playoffs than regular season. Basically a 2-to-1 TD/INT ratio for his career. Good, tough (never missed a game for injury) QB.
  18. So you’re saying it’s a baaaad hire?
  19. There is literally next to nothing one can take from the first Bills-Chefs game. The Bills were nowhere close to full strength and the defensive game plan encouraged the Chefs to run the ball and have sustained drives. As for blowout Chefs games? Please tell me when the last one of those occurred, because it has been a while.
  20. Ok, quick trivia question for the OP — name the last Super Bowl Champion that is remembered for the easy path they had to the title. We’re still waiting...
  21. I believe you’ve answered your own question. Look at the difference of the D when he’s in there. Isn’t that the definition of MVP? I love Poyer but Milano has shown he’s more important to the overall success of the D.
  22. Bill’s what?
  23. We know Colin is all about schtick, but he'd probably say this in a "normal" year as well. The only reason games got rescheduled this season is for COVID. That's it. There is no precedent for rescheduling NFL games based upon a particular player's health.
  24. I'll give this a go. Coaching: Slight edge to 2020 Bills. Marv is a legend and great motivator/communicator but McD might be as good. Assistant coaches/coordinators are better on the 2020 team. Offense: Edge to 90s Bills. Kelly/Reed/Lofton/McKeller/Thurman were just so damn good. Those Bills could beat you with the pass OR the run. Josh may have already surpassed Kelly, and Diggs is better than Reed, but the rest of the offense lags behind the 90s squad, particularly in the running game. Defense: Edge to '20 Bills. The 90s Bills had Bruce, Biscuit, Talley, and Odomes, but they were vulnerable and got exposed in those four Super Bowls. The '20 Bills don't have the stars (besides Tre) but I believe they are better coached and more adaptable. Special Teams: Edge to 90s Bills. Norwood/Christie were solid (save for one kick). Mohr was a decent punter. Coverage units were solid. Tasker should be in the HOF. If the '20 Bills conclude this run with a Super Bowl Championship they will be the greatest Bills team in history.
