I'll add, when looking at the HOF I always ask myself "can you tell the story of the NFL without mentioning this guy?" With Rivers my answer is, "probably."
-
Probably gets into HOF but is really one of those "Hall of Really Good" players. 5-7 playoff W-L record, QB rating 10 pts. lower in playoffs than regular season. Basically a 2-to-1 TD/INT ratio for his career. Good, tough (never missed a game for injury) QB.

So you’re saying it’s a baaaad hire?

There is literally next to nothing one can take from the first Bills-Chefs game. The Bills were nowhere close to full strength and the defensive game plan encouraged the Chefs to run the ball and have sustained drives. As for blowout Chefs games? Please tell me when the last one of those occurred, because it has been a while.

I believe you’ve answered your own question. Look at the difference of the D when he’s in there. Isn’t that the definition of MVP? I love Poyer but Milano has shown he’s more important to the overall success of the D.

Bill’s what?

I'll give this a go. Coaching: Slight edge to 2020 Bills. Marv is a legend and great motivator/communicator but McD might be as good. Assistant coaches/coordinators are better on the 2020 team. Offense: Edge to 90s Bills. Kelly/Reed/Lofton/McKeller/Thurman were just so damn good. Those Bills could beat you with the pass OR the run. Josh may have already surpassed Kelly, and Diggs is better than Reed, but the rest of the offense lags behind the 90s squad, particularly in the running game. Defense: Edge to '20 Bills. The 90s Bills had Bruce, Biscuit, Talley, and Odomes, but they were vulnerable and got exposed in those four Super Bowls. The '20 Bills don't have the stars (besides Tre) but I believe they are better coached and more adaptable. Special Teams: Edge to 90s Bills. Norwood/Christie were solid (save for one kick). Mohr was a decent punter. Coverage units were solid. Tasker should be in the HOF. If the '20 Bills conclude this run with a Super Bowl Championship they will be the greatest Bills team in history.

Do you like the term “Bills Mafia”?

Well that’s a well-reasoned position to take. Don’t bother to do any research or investigation, just REACT! smh... -

I love it for the following reasons: It was organic. No marketing team came up with this, it originated as a group of Bills fans “united” against a reporter. It symbolizes family sticking up for one another. It’s ours. We always heard about how “Bills fans are the best” but this puts a name to it no one else can copy. The players LOVE it and have fully embraced it. Those who don’t like it because they think it evokes thoughts of mob violence or drunks crashing through folding tables need to loosen up, in my opinion. It is widely viewed as an endearing description of the loyalty and unity of the Bills fan base. -
I guess I said that wrong, LOL. My thought was that the Ravens seem to be able to get good performances out of any RB. I guess dumping him saves them cap? How old is he? Yeah, I said that wrong. See above.

After a slow start against the Colts they scored on how many consecutive drives? And against Baltimore they had one 3-and-out and Allen moved them into scoring position four times in less than 25 minutes of possession time. Indy and Baltimore are good teams with good defenses. This is yet another of your attempts to discredit McDermott by saying they were “tight.” It’s simply not true.

The running game has to be there vs KC this week.

No, it doesn’t. -
When the best running team in football doesn’t want you, it might be time to hang em up.

Report: Daboll will remain with Bills in 2021
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've always found Daboll to be very articulate and well-spoken. -
Yes, I know he had one fumble we recovered, but aside from that Josh played essentially mistake-free football and led the Bills into scoring position four times with less than 25 minutes of possession time. Gabe dropped a TD and Bass missed two kicks. He didn't throw anything even close to being picked off and still completed 62% in that wind. Anyone "worried" about Josh Allen or the offense needs to stand down.

I also said Saturday's game wouldn't be all that stressful in the 4th quarter...just sayin'
