12/19/21 Gameday Bills vs Panthers Pregame Thread
eball replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel the opposite. Josh will be the superstar and exploit the Panthers' man-to-man. I also expect a bunch of screens and draws. Panthers are going to have a very hard time scoring against us. There is really no reason for gloom and doom against Carolina. -

Which is EXACTLY the way we want it. The Bills now control their own destiny 100%. No more excuses. LET’S GO!!! -
It was also a mistake not to go for two when the Chargers scored to go up 7. Kicking the PAT to go up 8 does nothing, as KC could (and did) tie it with their own 2-pointer. If you get two there you go up by two scores, and if you fail you're still up 7 and KC would have kicked the PAT. For all of Staley's analytical "wizardry" he was AWFUL last night.

AFC Wildcard Rooting Interests Week 15

As much as I hate the thought of KC having home field advantage throughout the playoffs again, the Chargers blowing that game last night was good for the Bills if we don’t win the division. Still, I agree the best results this weekend would be Indy over Pats*** and a Bills win, which essentially sets up a showdown for the division the following week (and yes, I’m presuming the Bills will beat Atlanta and the Nyets). -
Well, it’s confirmation of a physical assault, for one… Still can’t believe we lost to this clown.

LOL. Shows how great my “feeling” was. It has been such a strange season. The Bills are still probably one of the best 5 teams in the league; they just haven’t been able to find any consistency and their flaws have been exposed at the most inopportune moments. None of the breaks that went our way last year have gone our way this year. Three losses against likely playoff teams with the ball in our hands in the red zone. The Bills are a good — perhaps very good — team. But I can’t honestly predict what next week’s result will be. The 2nd half of yesterday’s game provided, at least, some reason for optimism. A team whose coach has lost them doesn’t fight back like that, but we’re all still waiting for them to show up and fight for four quarters on a consistent basis. At this point it has simply come down to this: get into the playoffs and then see what happens, because there aren’t any great teams in the AFC and Buffalo could still win the damn thing just as easily as anyone else.

December 6, 2021 Gameday Bills vs. Patriots* Pregame Thread

This just gave me a headache. -
I haven’t read through the thread but the answer is “drink more.”

Yeah, I’m kind of the opposite. The Mannings offer “real” insight into what’s going on, and most of the time the regular broadcasters are annoying to me anyway. I’m going to try it; I’ll let you know how it goes.
-
So who’s with me on watching the Manningcast over the main broadcast?

First of all, anyone who "expected" the Pats*** to be bad while BB was still coaching is a fool. But this is a loser attitude. The Bills have built a deep and talented roster, have a great FO in place, and should be contending for division, conference, and league titles for the foreseeable future. What in the world do Bills fans have to complain about? The Pats*** are now trying to keep up with us.
