  1. Before Josh came along the answer was (and still is) definitively Bruce Smith. No one else is even close. Based upon what Josh has become, and the improvement I still expect to see, by the time it is all said and done we may be able to have a spirited debate on the topic.
  2. Just going to enjoy the ride. Whatever happens, happens. Go Bills!
  3. Bills - 31 Lost Sheep - 16 20 and OHHHHH, Baby!!!!!!
  4. My analysis? The Bills got better at all of those positions. The only one even debatable is Beasley in the slot.
  5. Full-time as in how Singletary is used? Not at all.
  6. If there's one thing I don't worry about from a McD/Frazier defense, it's lack of discipline. Yeah, yeah, 13 seconds, I know, but the point stands based upon their body of work. I am expecting the Bills to score at least 27, and the Rams will be in the 17-23 range.
  7. Is there any other way? Donald is a mismatch against anyone. The Rams still somehow lose football games.
  8. Good point. I have heard rumors that the defensive players and coaches have been moping around OBD, shuffling their feet with their heads down. They seem demoralized. Bet the Sheep!
  9. Yep, going to the big tailgate. You going?
  10. I’ll say what I say every time somebody worries about another team…they also have to play US. I don’t think their defense is slowing Josh down.
  11. Ditto. I am very, very excited to see the new-look D line in action.
  12. But take cash, unless they’ve changed their policy (I haven’t been since Covid).
  13. I tell ya, with Li’l Dirty’s status up in the air it sure is nice to have a vet like Crowder available to step in.
  14. I want to be proud of my team and my QB. I’ve got that. Now it’s all about having fun watching them.
  15. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
  16. Cousins, Jefferson, Cook might be one…but every time I think of Cousins I say “ugh.” He does put up the numbers though.
  17. I picked up the Fish D in fantasy just for W1 against McCorkle and the anemic Pats***. Hoping for a 10-6 snooze fest.
  18. I encourage Bills fans to take a step back and simply enjoy whatever run we have with Josh. The “we have to win the SB this year or the season is a failure” mentality is, in my own insignificant opinion, unhealthy. As the article suggests, JA is probably a once-in-a-lifetime talent — not a trend of NFL QBs into the future. If things progress as they should, the championships will follow given the strong organizational structure in Buffalo. I’m going to enjoy the hell out of this.
  19. Prediction: James Cook is the starting RB going into 2023. I feel like he has skills akin to Thurman, albeit with more speed. 2022 is Motor’s year, but he won’t be signed to a 2nd contract and I won’t be surprised if we see more and more of Cook as the season progresses. Cook will make the passing game better by being an extra weapon for Josh.
  20. I can’t get the video to play, but who were 1 and 2?
  21. Finally signed up for streaming using the college student eligibility. Easy as pie.
  22. Sweeney and Morris would have been snatched up by the Giants in a heartbeat. Howard obviously was not.
  23. Pot, meet kettle.
  24. Team age can be a misleading stat, and I think in the Bills’ case it is a bit misleading. Much of the age on this team is in the form of veteran depth, particularly on the OL. The safeties are obviously older but potential replacements are on the roster. On the D line only Miller is “old” but he shows no signs of slowing down. There will always be roster churn from year to year, and nobody can keep rolling out the “same” unit for more than a few years. Long story short — I don’t view this statistic as anything to be “worried” about for the Bills short- and long-term future, particularly when they have a 26-yo stud at the most important position in the game.
  25. You’re one to talk, Puntin.
