  1. Booth, McDuffie, none of this matters…. We’re signing Gilmore and drafting Watson….
  2. Davis and that whole Washington defense way underperformed. My guess is they don’t want to hurt anybody… They don’t want to end careers. plus, can’t you go over every position and find failures? PS - I think the Bills need to spend a one to replace Tremaine effectively….perhaps a second rounder if we’re lucky…
  3. Herbert hasn’t shown the ability yet to make something out of nothing. He is not athletic enough nor powerful enough to extend plays like Allen does. Just wait if our line is better from week one on, what Allen will do…there will be no more jax games. He will be unstoppable. Just wanted to add that no QB is nfl history has had protection like Tom Brady. It was ridiculous how well he was protected.
  4. Allen is easily the best QB in the league right now. If it wasn’t for our knuckle-headed coaches he would have one notch on the belt already. What a gyp! I kind of hope we get Jameson or Watson in round one and let our OCs (we have four former or current OCs) tear defenses apart…. Could you imagine, Watson then Walker? That’s some cereal speed! LOL, I hope we do it. Sign Gilmore draft a good corner in the third…. If there’s a corner in fourth take him too… Now that’s an offense designed to win Super Bowls without the need of a great defense (which is rare).
  5. Tough calls….the guy that really sticks out to me from that list is Milano. What has he done for us lately? I don’t think he was ever worth that kind of dough… I think Edmunds has to be replaced by a high pick so he might stay awhile if he agrees to a contract to stay….on the other hand, his contract is set to expire, all the work is done for us…. Hyde and Poyer unfortunately are getting old and perhaps we have to move on at the appropriate time there too… but I think there is a very little a young LB couldn’t do to replace Milano….Just got to find a smart one…I think defenses have found a way to nullify him…there is very little Milano can do about being blocked. I think teams have decided to put a hat on him to avoid his impact. Maybe if our DL is better this year, teams won’t be able to find Milano? I sure hope you’re right on regarding Groot. The 3 young DEs absolutely have to come on this year… I wonder what weight Groot is going to be this spring? He might be a Super big end. He has the frame that is for sure. He gained 30 LBs. last year…..It would be very interesting if he showed up ~ 300#…. Too heavy??? Is he athletic enough and explosive enough to get that QB at 265? His best bet might be to become a full power rusher at 300 like Super…. IDK? We’ll have to see….
  6. The OJ signing plus all this interest in TEs in the draft has my curiosity peeked. You havta figure we’re going to be running the 12 at least a little bit more…. I dunno, with McKenzie and Chrowder in the slot we’re strong at three-wide…. We get Jameson or Watson at 25 our 3 wide is set for the year. Maybe there are teams that look very susceptible to the 12? Like the Bills for instance… Its going to be such a fantastic year for the Bills…. If the Bills sign a vet corner, we could go just about in any direction come draft day…
  7. Anybody think this signing is a vote of confidence for Tom Doyle? I think it could be….
  8. Only JA himself has a shot of being a better football player. He has a real good shot, imho…Just has to keep playing… Bruce shouldn’t have played in preseason at all…just risking an injury for no reason. Bruce was always ready to play…. PS - Ted Washington is the best run defender of all-time and a damn good pocket crusher… If OJ didn’t totally f***-up, Bills fans would have had a pretty good list of NFL best of all-time players…
  9. Sign a vet CB. 1. Draft huge play WR, Jameson or Watson for JA with ability to break a defense wide open. Plus depth, another weapon, etc. 2. Draft best Lineman available leaning towards O but not ruling out D. 3. Will get an outside corner almost as good as what we’d get in the first. 4. Hit corner again if there is still an outside option. Maybe trade up to get last outside CB…Otherwise BPA… 5. LB, lineman, BPA. Maybe one-tech here…. 5. sent six and seven for low five if I didn’t burn them earlier. BPA. Maybe OT or LB 6. P If we take RB in round two, it kind of screws up my needs list. If he is clearly BPA I’ll think about it. Is there a RB way better than Singletary? Walker looks like a fast Singletary to me. IDK if that’s worth a 2nd rd. pick. We could get a pro bowl OG…. Return Bates to 6th OL… get that run game really going with Singletary, Johnson and Moss…. Bring in a good UDFA RB….
  10. Nice write-up. No, I haven’t given up on Moss and more importantly I don’t think Beane has either. What I think is going on is if a RB in round two is clearly the BPA we’ll draft a new #1 RB and Moss will be on the trade-block at a drastically reduced price. But if we can go Lineman or WR or CB in round two running back is off the needs list until the 7th round or UDFA…. IMHO, Singletary is the better back. Devon can make people miss very well and Moss cannot. Otherwise, I think their just about clones with maybe Moss a little tougher. Both are fantastic run blockers. Both are decent receivers but not great by any means. I’d give the edge to Moss there. I don’t know why both aren’t better though…. I think Duke Johnson is a good RB. IThink he has the the 2nd back job already wrapped-up because he is a good receiver. He brings something else. Moss has to wait for an injury and then give it everything he has. He is fully capable of taking someone’s job when it happens. RBs generally get knocked up so the opportunity will come. Beane has tremendous patience and hates to give up on a player he drafted. Look at that guard we traded to Cleveland or the KO specialist Ray-Ray McCloud. If Beane drafts them, they appear to be NFL players. In round two there is a back named Walker. LOL, he is very much like Singletary and Moss….the same height and weight as those two…The thing is though with Walker is he’s a 4.4 guy. A Singletary that can run away…. If we drafted him we’d have four ~ 5’9” 215# RBs….. Anyway, a Singletary with speed sounds pretty good though I wish we could get a big back like the colts stud. though, like I said, I think we can get bye with Singletary, Johnson and Moss, three NFL level backs. Three very similar backs…
  11. I think (C) played in the senior bowl is a pretty outstanding stat. Maybe every team has a similar stat, IDK? I’m guessing… It is weird that we favor ACC over SEC do much… Im jonesing for an injured player this year… I say sign Gilmore…. Draft Ojabo or Jameson at 25… We will never again get a shot at that kind of talent as long as JA is ur QB, we need to act! Sign Stephon. Draft Ojabo. Best OL or DL in the second. Never forget the lines. Best CB in the third. BPA the rest of the way….depending on who we get Ojabo or Jameson…..
  12. LOL, the moreI think about our roster, the more I think we need help…. Was talking to a guy about DT the other day, the Bills could definitely use a young 1-tech….OL, CB, WR, RB…. We could use a lot of help in a lot of places, imho….If you think about next season our needs get dizzying, so I won’t go there. And we’ll see how Beane drafted DEs the past two years….They don’t take big steps this year our defense is likely to be like last year’s with whoever scores last the winner…Plus, our new DTs have a big say in how we do this year… Did McBeane hire the right guys? How badly do they want a Super Bowl? On top of that we have Shaq and Phillips as insurance and to be part of the rotation. I have a little more faith in them because I know what they’re here for… Can this defense spring Jordan like the last one? I hope everyone is working out as we speak because that is what we are going to need….
  13. We’ve got Josh Allen and his offense, but we had to and did build a new DL and need a lot of help at outside corner. We need both the new DTs to really step up along with our young DEs…. If Beane drafted garbage and the new DTs can’t shine we will be exactly like last year, with the team that has the ball last wins. I don’t like those odds. I sure hope Leslie, Brandon and Sean know what they’re doing….
  14. As the vote is showing, if we can keep only two, let them be Dawson and Ed. Though losing Jordan and Tremaine would be painful…. Very painful. Probably take us out of being a Super Bowl favorite. Even if we drafted both spots next year….No compensation until the following year…. Yikes! I coulda swore we signed OJ to two years…. I was hoping he could cover for a year….but no… I don’t think we can carry three TEs this year….we need that FB, no? Lotta ST snaps and FB and TE? Lotta snaps….
  15. To me, the rounds in which the Bills should be looking at to trade up is the second and third rounds. Especially the third if there is any talent left. We don’t necessarily need most of those low picks (4-7) it would work out pretty well. Even the second round as I wouldn’t mind sending maybe a future pick plus the low picks to move up and get a Sky Moore.
  16. I don’t care what anybody says. He lost his world class explosion and that means he’s human now. If we can’t seriously help him with pressure in the middle, pressure from the other side, the right blitz calls, he’s going to have a hard time being an impact player. He needs help. Only a young Von Miller or a Bruse Smith can do it alone. Groot, Epenesa and Basham need to really step up. Those new DTS WE SIGNED need to be impactful…Then and only then will Von fly….
  17. Not me…. Sign a vet, get a couple corners later…..The Bills know corners. Where to find them, how to train them and get them ready for the beginning of the season. If the Bills take a corner in round one I’ll be happy because the Bills think he’s worth it, if they don’t I’ll be happier with Christian Watson and a couple corners later on. My big wish for this draft is the we get a corner, a OG and a WR by the end of round three (along with the vet corner).
  18. Not a great habit trading young players for old…. Epenesa could blossom this year with Jerry and Mario out of the way….
  19. I’m with the poster. We’ll NEVER get a chance to get talent like that in the draft again so long as Josh Allen is on this team again. I think it’s a no brainer to take him. The corners aren’t worth it at 25, no way, no how….. He’ll look fantastic in a Bills uniform and will replace Diggs as Allen’s all-time #1….
  20. Our OL really struggled early last year and this showed in Josh’s game as it should. Give Josh some decent protection so he’s expects some time, and get out his way. TDs are coming….. PS - about that luck, we sure do need that. Any team, even ones that have a process to eliminate injuries can be struck down just like that. Like Tre last year, we may not have lost a lot of players, but sure lost a very key one….
  21. I wouldn’t mind a small trade down and then trade up…. Get a CB, OG and WR…..before 89….. Unless we can get a good guard at 89? I think we need three good players out of this draft, a OG, WR and CB…. Then we need help at CB,LB and P…..
  22. Me too….The fishies have been supplying the Bills and patsies with a couple quality players here and there… Wesley Walker, Mike Gilleslee, Chris Hogan, Jordan Phillips, Devante Parker….I feel I missing a couple…. thanks, fishes! And you’re right, I don’t think Parker is an impact WR, maybe NE gets one in the draft? Meh….We’ll still crush them….
  23. We’re going to do both (a vet and a draft pick) absolutely. After signing the vet it may not be the first pick but round four at the very latest probably first to third round. If by some chance the FA signing falls thru, then we have to draft two guys that can play possibly in week one. In fact we may get three corners. I list needs as CB -OG/WR (tie) another corner, RB, LB, P, OT…. I think we need a player at each position. RB is a tough one. We have good backs in Singletary, Duke Johnson and Moss but none have Star potential. The only way we should take a back is if the Back is easily BPA but then we’d lose out on the better WRs and without him if Davis or Diggs goes down we’re probably screwed. So it’s a conundrum. A great back could take us to another level, but if Diggs goes down it could cripple the offense. We need another good outside WR. I’d say for sure. The same almost with OG we need a capable backup and someone to replace Saffold next year (probably). Another thing to note is that Saffold is now injury prone at 34 so the OG need is even higher….that’s why I have it as a tie with WR. To sum up, we’ve really gotta hit CB, WR and OG with good draft picks… LB is also is also a sneaky need with Klein gone….We’ll have trouble going to our true 4-3 and when Edmunds or Milano goes down the need is greatly multiplied. (And Milano usually goes down a couple weeks.) Bottom line: Not only do you need the best 22, it’s the best 53 that wins SuperBowls. You gotta have that depth to win Super Bowls. Not many people think we still have many holes but we do. We could even use a guy that can challenge Doyle for the swing OT job too, even if he doesn’t make the team, maybe we can call him up from the practice squad if someone goes down. Doyle is still unknown. Be prepared! Go Bills! Go Bills!
