When I lived in Houston, I got on the plane with my wife and Whitney and his SO. I wanted to say, hey Whitney - then when he'd respond I was going to joke and say I thought that was your girl's name. Then as I got closer I saw he was only 6-7" taller and 100# heavier than me and decided to keep my joke to myself...

I like Schefter. I remember 2nd year of college, opening night of free agency. Schefter was reporting news first before anyone left and right - I was astounded! So, I emailed every combination of his name (when he worked at NFL network) with a short message, and after numerous "failed to send" auto replies due to wrong email addresses, I hit on it. Schefter replied to me less than a couple of minutes later, still amidst the midnight flurry storm of NFL activity. I've been a fan of his ever since.

I didn't get to watch much college ball this year, record low for me really. But Basham really stood out and has other intangibles you want in a player. I won't get into his play because you can watch highlights or some game clips, but outside of that, he's got that swagger you want, was a captain, can squat over 700 lbs., and finally, 20+ sacks in college isn't anything to scoff at.

This is who I wanted all draft. Didn't think we'd be able to nab Rousseau, so I wanted to trade out of first ans get Basham at 4x pick and keep our 61. What a draft with both Rousseau and Basham Jr. I am so stoked!!

Heard they tried to get Tommy Brady back, but are going to go back to Jimmy G. Billy B doesn't know how to win without Brady/Jimmy, so he's dredging up the past. Wonder if his dog is going to draft for him again this year too...

Sure - but to the contrary, unless you know definitively and saw the catch secured, as someone who has red's (albeit a different sport), you signal you didn't have a clear view and therefore cannot say in that moment if it was a catch or not. Just my opinion.
