Difference again between Pats and Bills
White Linen replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, that's why they keep having to find WR's to make him better. -
It May Be Time To Think Big With The Bills
White Linen replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now see, you can't do that. Don't you know it was a fluke? Unless you want to talk about Tyrod - then he's an amazing QB that lead a team to the playoffs. -
Stefon Diggs signs extension

Several other guys in respective categories missed games. He's not a receiver I fear. Now that I say that, he'll of course torch us. -
Stefon Diggs signs extension

I'm not saying they're terrible but Diggs was 25th in yards, 31st in catches and outside the top 40 in YAC. He's a good receiver but I'm not conceding our secondary can't cover him. -

Vet QB had a lot to do with that too. Enter Cousins who had a rough year last year with sacks but good 2 years prior. We'll see soon. -

Oh come off that. Diggs isn't that good - and he's known for being coo coo. -
Allen already a factor in QB race ?
White Linen replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I took total production into account that's why I didn't say passing. I would think 3,300 yards and 18 TD's is reasonable to expect. I hope that's the case because I think it's necessary to evaluate the offense and WR's. Over 16 games it's producing 206 total yards average per game. -
I along with many other posters have shown Tyrod clearly not seeing open receivers while in the pocket. I believe he's the worst passer from the pocket of any starting QB in the league. He also gets sacked a ton and the misnomer is that it's because of the OL and receivers not getting open - at minimum that's been partially debunked. He's an amazing athlete and his backyard style while maintaining minimum risk is of course Taylor's strength. However D coordinators were not fearful of him leaving the pocket and they still brought the pressure without sacrificing a spy. They knew under pressure he would leave the pocket prematurely. We saw that as a net positive because he often did his best work on the run without making huge mistakes. D coordinators saw that as something limiting their risk because his overall production was contained and he'd often be willing to take a sack vs an interception. He put himself into a box the D coordinators were all too happy to let him do. All coordinators want to get to the QB - it's our OL's job and O coordinator to make that difficult. How they perform will have no relation to Tyrod Taylor not being here.

I agree but just to take it step further, they do have proof of what Tyrod was. It's not unreasonable to think his production can be out matched - the real question is can the team absorb the likelihood of more turnovers. The secondary thing is Tyrod makes it very difficult to identify what you have in receivers and he does not execute an offense. I think AJ gives us the best chance to evaluate the offense and receivers. -

I agree with this 100%. Nicely said. -
@greenyellowred I'll be watching every minute too and I'm relieved it'll be that much easier to watch being on national TV. As dollars 2 donuts said - the knuckleheads making fun of you are hypocrites. It's easy to let someone else jump out there and be excited for a pre-season game - wait to see if he gets made fun of - then pretend their not excited too. I think we can compartmentalize pre-season excitement vs regular season. I enjoy watching the position battles, new free agents, draft picks and to see if there's any insight on how the offense might look. Any fan pretending they don't want to see Josh Allen throw is a liar - he's what ultimately makes this pre-season the most anticipated.

I wouldn't want to see that package unless it's once in a long while to throw the offensive team off - for a very specific reason.

also Alfred Morris

Based on what? Just anything in general? I never wanted Rosen, I just don't know what you're asking.

I find this post going a bit too far. Why doesn't the team put the team first and take any language the player doesn't like out of the contract? Everyone agrees it's very likely not to come into play - so why doesn't the team take the very small risk and get the player into camp to help the team and his development?

Josh Allen “not looking to beat anyone out”
White Linen replied to JaCrispy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd much rather have my QB prospect handle himself this way vs Mayfield who thinks running his mouth matters.
