  1. The more attractive the ticket the higher the price will be to the people that want to go. Pricing for tickets isn't dictated by people that will just stay home.
  2. I'd have to disagree. Most don't love him, most think he got a head scratching contract from us and needs to stay healthy. He's a guy that when healthy, can put pressure on the QB. Star on the other hand, IMO, was overrated. I've shown multiple times he didn't do his job well. He's an average player and he got huge money.
  3. Further, surprise/underrated starter vs making the 53 man roster are two wildly different topics.
  4. He was a good player when not hurt and he's our starting left defensive end. Who would you have starting in front of him for him to be a surprise starter?
  5. "Many 53-man roster spots have been locked down entering this season, but there’s always a few surprises in store come September. Which current Bills players could win a starting job or secure a spot on the roster? Here’s one underrated player to watch at every position." Trent Murphy? How would that be a surprise if he starts and why would that be underrated?
  6. Weak article, IMO. "Shake up the roster" - Waddle, Johnson, Murphy, Sweeney - really.
  7. Absolutely not - he stinks. Did a good job of over hyping himself and got paid.
  8. It's something that can be worked on to get better at. It's a game of cat and mouse if you will with WR's and DB's. That's why you have to work on your position endlessly and be able to read the defender to know what to do. Very similar to offensive tackles and DE's. I see guys use a swim or spin move and they don't know it's the wrong move based on what the offensive lineman are doing or the situation. The swim move and spin move are easily defended if the DE hasn't perfected it, set it up or knows when to use it. Same thing with WR's. They just have to get better.
  9. Have to wonder if he just bloomed late or never got a real opportunity . He's turned into one heck of a player, an even better leader and outstanding for the community.
  10. Hes a good player - just needs to be available.
  11. Beane has done a good job of making these things more quiet than usual.
  12. What up Ice Bowl. Not a Toronto anything fan. As many others have said, good to have you back and you're always welcome in my book.
  13. Did you miss the part I said they were really nice people?
  14. I disagree. His game is about quickness and leverage.
  15. They all seem like nice people but this show is pretty hard to take seriously.
  16. I think he'll play under 285 if the team wants him to. In todays sports, whatever weight desired is easily acheived.
  17. I know I don't. Some of the best DT's in the league were not from the big schools. Some were from a big school but drafted in later rounds. The point is good football players can come from a lot of different places.
  18. I don't think he has the numbers even close to getting into the hall.
  19. I think he's limited physically. There's times when he just can't thrown the ball hard enough and the defense closes in on him or the receiver. That's why he looks good when there's no real pass rush - he throws the ball with good timing when there's time for it to get there.
  20. I don't think we owe OJ anything in terms of the team honoring his legacy. I just think the #32 should be off limits because it's just too weird of a situation. I would have kept it unofficially retired for that reason only.
