I think this is completely plausible. The question I had is, why is he there with the team if he already told the FO he's quitting? They got busted trying to withhold it from the fans. No head coach would let a player who just quit be mingling with ex teammates during a game without a reason. Obviously not similar in terms of what the player did for the organization but if Vontae Davis came back out in Bills attire and it broke he quit ...... They weren't booing because they don't appreciate what Luck meant - they boo'd because he shouldn't be out there.

I'm somewhat concerned about our pass rush - Darnold is a different QB when under pressure. I think we'll play good against the run down and our corners are certainly capable of playing well against their WR's. I think we're a better team and I think it will come down to which QB performs better.

Yeah I'm nervous, not yet necessarily. When game time comes around the anxiety will be there. I think there's a lot of importance for our franchise in this game. Division rival in a very similar situation as us. I want our QB to be better than theirs - I want our team to be further ahead than theirs - I want some questions to start having some answers to them. For those trying to equate this to life's seriousness - come off it - we're just talking about football importance.

I get that but now he's commenting on players that are not his son. Obviously an indirect dig at the fans in defense of his son but IMO, that's where he makes himself look foolish.

IMO, it's comments like these why they are respected but hated. Obviously he doesn't care to be liked, then it's also obvious why many don't like him.

He is an outstanding player but he can't stay out of at minimum being around trouble. I would never give a first and have to pay him as the highest paid RB.
