I don't think there's 5 teams that are so much better they would roll over us in a home and away game in the same season. There's more than 5 teams better but that's not the question.

The perfect analogy. It's exactly like the golf swing. When you're not confident, it becomes a tense swing. He looks like he's guiding the ball (aiming). In warm ups he was booming the ball nicely. It's in his head - I think - and I'm a bit nervous.

Josh has rarely had time to throw the deep ball. Seeing it live, helped. I guess in the grand scheme - the o line could be doing him a short term favor by helping him develop. Long term - they need to get better.

I agree with this very good observation. I was there at the game and was privy to seeing the FG attempt he missed from a side view. His ball no longer penetrates. It's like he's punching at the ball instead of kicking through it. His leg looks weak at this point.

The offensive line still looks like an issue to me against starting defenders. I realize it should certainly get better with Morse but he's a concern also.

He's pretty bad but he's got so much to learn. Practice squad and hope he develops into a backup in a couple years.

I'm not sure how you got that I think we shouldn't help the less fortunate. What I'm saying is we have been as a society and country. It's gone largely unrecognized to the point that a minority football player making millions of dollars - albeit for something I couldn't do - is feeling wronged and racially divided. We can't fix that.

Exactly. However, often minorities are taught to recognize racism in is as many areas as possible. It was initially an effort in standing up for themselves and not allow it anymore. For years the problem was to just get more black people to fight because they cowered for so long because of the injustice. They knew they were going to face hard times for standing up and they certainly did. Now they have a voice and are just using it incorrectly. It's turned into working in opposite directions. The answer is to turn to God to help us but fewer and fewer people are doing that.

The NFL has been a huge ladder to minorities. If that can't be celebrated then the issue is with the people that can't.

They don't do it for peoples entertainment. They aren't court gestures.

They are in a real bind. He's a good efficient QB and finding a replacement is no gimme - yet he's not one of the leagues best. It's a bad problem that we may soon find ourselves in.

I think drinking and driving should be much more harshly punished. I'd like to see first offense getting 3 months of jail time, one year license removal after the jail time is served and a 10K fine. This crap has to stop.

What we also have to consider is we need Allen to be in the 275-300 completion range. If we can get brown in the 65-70 range and Beasley in the 80 range - I think it's reasonable to expect 45 from the TE's and 60 from the RB group (McCoy had 34 alone last year in a terrible year). That really allows the young receivers to learn without a ton of pressure and get 50 catches from the combination of the group. If Brown and Beasley get us 145-150 catches, with this defense. We'll be a good team.

Vlad has been one of the worst O lineman I've seen on our team in my time watching.

I'm not so sure he's just a camp body. He's been reasonably productive in the NFL. I think he's got a shot at making the team as a back up and special teams player.

He's not the player he once was, obviously. However I think we need a little bit more of a veteran presence, so I like the signing. I'm not sure he'll make the team but I'd like to give a veteran a shot. In his day he played awfully nasty too.
