  1. I don't want our FO anywhere near the massive over payment that's about to occur with this player.
  2. Not being impressed with this facility once again shows you're too invested in yourself. You mess around, the Pegula's do not.
  3. I said they do not mess around. I am correct.
  4. Pegula's do not mess around.
  5. There's a zero percent chance he slides to 9. My guess is determining if he's worth a trade up.
  6. Some posters are feeling like we're in "no mans land" at 9 etc etc. I feel just the opposite. If the above scenario happens who cares, we have a plethora of options even if it does. We can draft Hock, a WR, trade down (I'd imagine if all that happens, it'll be a perfect spot for a team looking at a QB, etc.
  7. I'm not a Rosen fan, I certainly did not want to draft him and he's not an easy guy to feel bad for. However he's really getting hosed here by Arizona. I think they've been totally ridiculous during this process.
  8. I agree but not too much of it. It's not off putting or where he looks like a punk. You can tell his teammates genuinely like him - if he plays well, oh boy, he's going to have everything we've wanted for waaayyy too long.
  9. He's getting national attention now as they reflect on his rookie season. The pressure to being depended on as an NFL QB is immense - I hope and also think we have the right man for the job.
  10. Yes let's draft a WR in the first round to make him a CB. I wouldn't so much mind if this was a 6th round idea but c'mon.
  11. My top 5 1) N'Keal Harry - I think he's the best all around WR in this draft. His catch radius is outstanding and I think he plays taller than he is but at 6'2", IMO, it's the ideal size for an NFL wide receiver to still be supremely athletic. 2) Parris Campbell - His speed is one thing, but when he puts his foot in the ground, he accelerates immediately. So smooth and I see star potential but I believe he'll be playing a long time in the NFL. I think he's the best route runner in the draft. 3) Hakeem Butler - It's easy to just say you like a tall receiver but I think he's more than that. He can cause problems for a defense in many ways. I think he's got Randy Moss potential. 4) DK Metcalf - Sometimes physical tools are just too phenomenal to ignore. I think he's got the potential to make wow plays but it'll take time for him to be well rounded. If he's got the work ethic (I don't know) then he could be unreal - if he doesn't I can see him actually struggle at the next level. I think he's boom or bust more than anyone in the top 5. 5) Deebo Samuel - I think he can play all the positions at WR. He runs excellent routes and takes great angles. Doesn't have over the top speed but does very well after the catch. I really like his frame and I think he'll be a durable tough NFL WR.
  12. Looks like I'll be seeing a good amount of the starters here in Charlotte.
  13. See, you understand.
  14. I just can't help someone watch the Red Sox.
  15. I'll agree with you on the dopey ex players part. I mean, like I'm going to seriously consider Jones-Drew a draft expert. On the other hand Frelund is as bad. I feel like laughing every time they all act stunned at her immense data.
  16. We're not going to be punting. It'll be kickoffs only.
  17. He'll just end up going to the Patriots and be the best punter ever.
  18. Pick a great player at 9 - trade back up in the first and get Allen another weapon.
  19. It's very gimmicky when they go to her for analytic opinion on something. I suppose it's their attempt to look at the NFL from that angle and she's assigned to the spreadsheets. It's nothing against her personally.
  20. We're going to be really good. How are you?
  21. I disagree. I think RB is one of the most underrated skill sets. Understanding the playbook and knowing where to be and go, is not something you pick up fast. His head will be spinning for sure. There's a definite art to running, understanding the offensive line/defense, when to abandon the "called" hole and it's a brutal position physically. KR? Maybe
  22. I have much respect for rugby players but I don't think he makes it. The NFL is the most dangerous and violent field of play in the world. It's the years of technical training that will cause the separation. The instincts an NFL RB has are learned behaviors and they're just different skill sets.
  23. Grading players is something no more perfected than when the draft first began. Who really cares if a fan or FO says we draft BPA vs need? BPA is an illusion and shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone.
  24. Competition from any source is a positive and something said over and over by Beane and McD.
