  1. Didn't the Bills have multiple interceptions against Rivers when they played at the Ralph last time a few years ago. This was the game where we lost power and old-style manual clock counts were used for the play clock.
  2. Indian Premier League, Cricket Twenty-Twenty !!!
  3. And we would need the 12th Man to fully suited up!
  4. Big Ben also benefited from some fantastic OCs in Ken Wishenhunt and Bruce Arians during those SB years.
  5. Bettis and Harrison would be in for a long discussion.
  6. Doug Flutie was the Ultimate game manager for the Bills. When he played we knew we had a shot to win. Isn't that being a good manager. Ben was not the centerpiece of that team. The RBs (Parker and Bettis), Defense (Polamalu, Hampton) and ST were.
  7. Ben Rothelisberger was a game manager in his first two seasons on his way to the AFC Championship in the first year and the Super bowl in the 2nd season. His goal was to not make mistakes and make the right throws. The defense and STs were built to win the championshop for them. I am perfectly happy with EJ being a game manager for the next two seasons as long as we continue to win. BTW, a game manager still needs to make sharp and critical throws. EJ still has his task cut out. THe only thing is that the Bills are not asking him to win the games by himself.
  8. we also have to play the Packers, Broncos, Patriots (twice), Chargers (who just beat the Hawks). They all even out
  9. Bill, No mention of our RT today? He shut down Wake Cameron. Wake couldn't even sniff EJ's odor. It was that dominant by Seantrel. Another play that stood out showing a new generation of Bills was the hit put on by Woods on the Kick return. It was bone chilling!
  10. Cousins sucked last year when thrust into the role of the starter. And now it appears DeSean Jackson is injured too.
  11. And Kirk Cousins is the favorite QB in the Nation's capital again!
  12. The biggest stat of the game (besides the win) - Cameron Wake - 0 sacks. When our offense does not make mistakes, our defense can win the game for us. Coming out party for Sammy Watkins
  13. Woods is my favorite player on this team
  14. This defense is tired. No pass rush. Too many penalties
  15. They need to score TDs. Missed two opportunities to score in the Red zone. Run game needs to pick up, That Dolphins defense should be tired by now. Come on EJ and the Offense.
  16. Today is the day the front four has to generate the Pass Rush and not give Tannehill the time to throw the football. The DBs are not even in the picture today. It is the day Mario and Hughes earn their contracts. Who is the #2 WR and the TE in Miami.
  17. The crowd noise on the Monday Night game against Dallas four-five years ago was phenomenal. It was just unfortunate that the Bills made SILLY mistakes at the end of the game which cost them the win. Even our DE who often gets whipped by the Bills fan had a fumble return for TD that day.
  18. I wish the NFL had chosen to honor Mr. Wilson by making the season opener a Nationally Televised game. And to match it wonderfully, they would be playing the Dolphins, the Bills most heated rivalrly over the past 40 seasons (as per Mr. Wilson). Considering the timing of the Pegula news, this would have been a perfect game.
  19. +1. When your starting QB is out for a signficant time and you are using two scrubs picked off the scrap heap, you are going to be conservative. It is not like Hackett had enough weapons to play last year
  20. I guess the answer would have been to not draft a QB in the 1st round last year and hope Kevin Kolb would have been the starter and then pick a QB in Rd 3 or so. Again this is all hindsight. I am just answering what he could have done.
  21. Nigel was the weakest link on that front seven last year. While he had a good TC, the pre-season games did not show anything to me. Since Rivers, Spikes and Brown played well last sunday, I don't see any reason to send Brown back to the bench. I think Nigel should be the one on the bench,
  22. But Chandler is *NOT* a Top-Tier TE. He is an above average TE. There was no way Chandler was going to make a play on that ball. EJ had to do a better job there.
  23. Nope; According to the stats shown on TV, the Bills were 0-5 in Chicago prior to this game
  24. The D-line was phenomenal. They kept the pressure on Cutler all day, forcing him to make erratic throws. Those INTs were directly due to the pressure applied by Mario and Hughes. Give credit to that line. Also one must note that on Freddie's play, the OL did a fantastic job to give him such an open lane. He was already 15-20 yards downfield before a Bear defender touched him.
  25. Yesterday's win in Chicago was the first in that city for the Bills in their entire history. The more important one is that Chicago was the only NFL City where the Bills had yet to win an away game and they remove that from the record books yesterday.
