Get them to play defense...This team could have made the playoffs the last few years if the defense could have come to the party. In spite of injuries at the WR and TE position, the Bills offense still had a lot of things going good with McCoy and Taylor. Stop shooting ourselves with stupid penalties. Rex Ryan's team was one of the worst penalized teams in the NFL...

TT becomes a better QB if that defense showed up for any of the games last year....

Here is my problem with Whaley. Whaley was hired here with the "Steelers Pedigree"...for having the knowledge of the Steeler way of doing things....However, everything Whaley did here was un-steeler-like....Paying huge money to FAs, giving up draft picks to trade up....things that the Steelers don't do....

KC Picking @ 25 is not set in stone....Remember they are playing in a pretty tough AFC West (Oakland, Denver and San Diego).....They don't make the playoffs, their pick is in the top-20.

Why wouldn't Byrd sign for *vet min* (as you say) with a playoff bound team like a Oakland, Denver, KC or even a NE.

How does one trade for a RB whose cap hit is 8.95 ? My thoughts is tha McCoy has a wonderful year and will play out the contract in 2018. He has been our best player the lsat two seasons.

Agreed....TT with Schwartz defense would have been a 11-win season.

Sammy will have a great season and will be tagged. McCoy cap hit is pretty small and he has been teh best player on this team; I don't see how he gets cut unless he gets injured.

And the Bills have still full control by tagging him.

No Coach in his mind will start Peterman if he does not out-duel Tyrod in TC. And if he did then we are starting the better player at that position!! Also you have to remember that Tyrod did not have the weapons in the passing game....Watkins and Clay were hurt....Woods was playing with a serious injury. The other WRs were stiffs.

He played behind a horrible OL with not much on Offense at Stanford

I think drafting is better judged by the contributions of those 15 and 18 players rather than absolute counts.

Chan started Ryan Fitzpatrick over Losman/Edwards Doug started Orton over Manuel Rex Ryan started Tyrod over Manuel and Sean will start whoever comes out through TC. THe only difference will be that it is Tyrod's job to lose in TC as opposed to three seasons ago when all three were equally in it.

why? It is silly to say that even before Mini-camp has started. I can't believe this coaching staff signed Yates as insurance on what they did in the draft. I think those are two different things. I am not saying Yates is the savior of this franchise...but you have to give a full TC for Sean to figure out this roster and then it is set for the next four seasons.

I think you still need permission (No secrecy)...but team can deny if it is a lateral move. Agreed and Sean is removed from the Panthers now for over four months...It is silly to assume Sean knows the inside out of the draft board of the Panthers.. On the other hand that is exactly the reason why Whaley was not fired...He and his staff knew too much about the Bills draft board to let go before the draft even if he and his staff were lame duck
