    The biggest thing the coaches will evaluate is if they are putting 52 other guys on the rosters ability to make the playoffs in Jeopardy. If not, they will make the right decision

    WE have a brutal opening schedule with so many road games. It is hard to win in the NFL on the road. Historically the fans of this team have been ready to run any QB out of town quickly if they didn't start well out of the gates. Why put Allen in a situation where the odds of him winning his first 5-6 games is low.

    The day Herschel Walker trade happened, a precedent was set...that was followed by trading of Joe Montana to the Chiefs etc. No one is untouchable!

    If we stop the run last year, then we win a lot more games. The additions to the defense from the draft and FA will be huge for this team.

    That is not true. There are several that have a pretty high opinion of Josh Allen including former QB Trent Dilfer.

    Bingo. The HC that the OP talks about all have franchise QBs and top talent defense. When you have such a team, then you can take more risks and hence more rewards!

    If Allen beats Peterman and AJ for the starting position fair and square then I expect him to lead us to the playoffs.

    The AFC East needs franchise QBs named other than Tom Brady.....So I am ok with Darnold and Allen being the main stays for the next decade...sort of like the Marion-Kelly thing
