  1. They could have got it in the AFC East. But I think Belichek knew what teams would get with Garapollo.
  2. These are Steve Sabolic moments for the Franchise!!!!
  3. I chewed out all the ten nails from my fingers!!! And nine of them came on that 4th and 12 for Andy Dalton!
  4. How about Chunky Tolbert!
  5. I hope they don't. This team has gone through adversity over 17 years. It is a great day for the NFL.
  6. Same here..son born that year and in college (coincidentally at UMd this fall!) google did not exist facebook did not exist
  7. Karma is a B... The sad part for the Bengals is that they beat the two teams that were competing for that last wild card.
  8. Partying to wish in the New Year in this part of the Globe!!!!
  9. The problem is that the league is full of retreads who will always get a 2nd chance or even a 3rd chance...
  10. They also don't have a QB but are in a position to get one in this years draft
  11. He had a total of 3 games over 300 yards of throwing
  12. They are a disciplined team. They don't make mental mistakes.
  13. Tyrod doesn't open holes for the RB, the OL does!
  14. I thought we needed help from the Jets and we did not get it. We would still not have made the Playoffs even if we had beat the Steelers !
  15. Guys who have not been able to take their teams deep in the playoffs are no better than journey men QBs.
  16. and his waterbug RB with a 1st round pick, even though you already have a star. That has been shot down by Arians himself. I think that is just the Cardinals planting leaks so that they can part ways.
  17. The way this team played the first half didn't appear that they were mentally defeated. That 4th down give-it-to-them was the final straw that broke their back. as that triggered a 24 point burst.
  18. Our defense had 4 turnovers and we had 3 points out of it. One of Tyrod's worst game.
  19. what about Denver and the NY Jets.
  20. The pick meant nothing. It was simply a salary dump to get him off the books fast. Dareus was not motivated to play in yet another style of defense. I sense his level of commitment was not there. It is insane to assume the coach would want to stop a good player from getting on the field unless and until he does not wish to be a member of a team and do what is necessary. Dareus has been known to miss practice, miss classes etc. McDermott doesn't provide a different timetable for his super-stars. I would put the LBs above all of them except the QB. If Benjamin returns and Zeke can fix his problems in next years training camp and move to the slot and Thompson does turn into a gem then WR is not a priority in the draft other than gaining depth. If Lawson comes back from his injury, the pass rush is not that bad. The LBs besides Milano are really horrible and a huge liability.
  21. He also had Big Ben and Andrew Luck as his QB
  22. Some of the additional plus: - Keeping our Home Field - We went 6-2 with losses to New Orleans and New England. Last year we had home losses to crappy teams. - Competing hard on the road - We have been very competitive on the road except for the Chargers blow out. The NE one was a lot closer. We won in tough places like Atlanta and Kansas City. I am not sure the minus's you point out are really tough ones. 1. Playing Tolbert because we did not have a backup. When Cadet was in the game, he was getting the carries, not Tolbert. They need more depth at RB. 2. Actually, he has been a pretty good game manager than Rex. No stupid time outs. 3. He is conservative because of the talent level that he has. That is smart.
  23. The Bengals vs Ravens will not be a gimmy. The Bills need to take care of business and the Bengals are their best friend on Sunday at 4:30 PM
