  1. This is always concerning..>Why do you say the Owner seems clueless.. The owner like 31 other NFL team owners has selected a GM and HC to run their football operations. There is nothing that they did is different from the other 31 teams. Why do you call that Clueless? What makes a Owner SMART? Curious to know.
  2. RB: Shady better than Hyde or rookie Chubb WR: Benjamin....Landry is a slot receiver...so you can't compare numbers. OT: Dawkins We definitely have our starting LT for the next 3-4 years DE : Hughes - Is a well established pass rusher..Agreed not in the same leaue as Garrett...But Garrett is yet to prove anything in the NFL. CB: White - Best Rookie CB from last year...Is a top 10 CB in the league S - Poyer and Hyde - Above-Good Safeties form a great tandem...proabably better than the Browns starting Safeties. Rookies: Edmunds, Allen are promising rookies (Like Chubb)... Average players: Clay at TE So if you compared the Browns team player for player...You are not going to find much difference between the two teams...I would say the same with Miami, Jets, Arizona, 49ers, Carolina, Washington etc....These are all flawed teams depending on the way the football bounce can be 3-13 or 9-7...
  3. I agree...The OC is not putting ALlen in a place to succeed...We don't Allen to run this offense...it must be Shady! Not EJ ?
  4. Agreed he has got to get better...but he appears to have the tools and motivation to do it. great points...shows that Josh has work to do to get to the next level. I hope the Bills fans will be patient and the Coaching staff will allow him to grow into a NFL caliber QB.
  5. And a Jim Kelly...Jim was never afraid to get on the face of his teammates
  6. 1. A starting center like Pouncey (He will make the guards look better) 1. A starting CB to pair up with White 2. A pass rusher to replace Hughes 3. A OLB to rush the passer 4. A starting WR 3 on defense and 2 on offense.
  7. The best friend for a rookie QB is his RB and the Defense. The Bills need to get their Putrid Running game going. Without a consistent running game, Allen is going to be running for his life. and in the NFL you cannot escape!
  8. Where are you going to find these "STARTING" players !!!!!
  9. And it was amazing to see Allen go to the Defensive side and pumping them up after the Offense scored that TD. This will be a different team when all is said and done. Beg to differ. The Chargers were still throwing the football in the 2nd half. The difference was that the Bills pass rush came alive and they had poor field position. This would never work and I hate the HC being the DC...They are two different duties...I want McDermott to be the HC of this team. He can bring in an assistant who will run this defense for him in his way.
  10. I think the defense came alive in the 2nd half...They gave 3 points and it was not as if Rivers was NOT trying!
  11. Josh himself stated in the preseason that he had difficulty with the speed of NFL. Once he can slow down his game, he will be able to beat that blitz. There was good promise from him in his first start.
  12. You mean their Defense is beating a great Offense!!!
  13. Are you making the assumption that Allen is going to be a bust...Isn't that too early....Mahommes may have suffered the same fate with this OL.
  14. But they have some of the BEST WRs in the league in possibly the best in Hopkins!!!! Our WRs won't make their PS.
  15. Who are the Vets who are out there that can come and start and not suck the same level as the current ones ? Also, the premise that our OL was unsettled through TC is bull crap. Other than the Center, we pretty much have had the same folks as the #1 OL. What has changed is the chemistry between the OL and the QB as the three QBs were constantly rotated in as the #1 QB.
  16. Or It could simply be non-availability of good OL in FA or in the draft (at where they picked) !!!!! The loss of continuity on the OL has definitely hurt this team.
  17. Didn't they release A. Washington early this week? I am not sure Kerley can provide any help to Allen at this time!
  18. Yeah,.You had your job for 30 years...But the 500K he earns now has to be split over the next 30 years assuming he gave everything to the NFL and doesn't have an option other than to go back flipping burgers.
  19. Agreed...It is the guys who couldn't set up the edge and rush the passer and our LBs couldn't cover! Star was not a problem last Sunday
  20. Why wouldn't he? AJ had a poor outing in pre-season game2. Josh had a poor outing in game3. Only QB who performed consistently across the four games including the one Nate started was Nate. Argument could have been made to keep AJ instead of Peterman...But when two players show the same set of cards, the regime is going to keep the guy they drafted and get something in return for the other guy. What the Bills failed to see that both Nate and AJ couldn't go above a certain level and should have gone out and got another Veteran QB.
  21. Bingo. I think the only mistake made by Beane was trading AJ. AJ would have been a good Veteran QB to have on this team to mentor Josh. However on the flip side, Sean would have replaced Nate with AJ today for the 2nd game...So Josh wasn't going to get any playing time. The Bills really need a 10+ year backup QB who will play a mentor role without giving the HC a chance to replace with the Veteran.
  22. The fact that the guy took a team to the playoffs in his 1st year indicates he has full control of his locker room!
  23. I think Allen can take the hits and deliver...He is a mini-Big-Ben!!!
