  1. They’ve done studies ya know. 60% of the time, it works every time!
  2. I don’t get it either. It has to be coaching. Every one of our D-lineman seem to not be able to tackle the QB except for Von. It’s almost like they are overly concerned with keeping contain or something and this causes them to take weird angles and not go for the tackle. It’s quite odd.
  3. There were some significant line stunts going on the entire game. I haven’t watched the All-22 but I think Ed played a big role in some of those middle pressures using the stunts.
  4. The Athletic article post game by Joe Buscaglia goes in depth on Hines and Cook. Excerpt below: “3. The Cook and Hines package returns with a vengeance Against the Browns in Week 11, the Bills flashed a personnel package including both Cook and Nyheim Hinesas a means to put pressure on the defense in different ways. They did it on a handful of snaps, but it wasn’t a heavy piece of their game plan. Then against the Lions in Week 12, the Bills mostly went away from that personnel grouping, and Hines himself as the back had only four snaps total. But offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey may have been keeping it in his back pocket for the Patriots game, as they used Cook and Hines on the field together a whopping 12 times throughout the game. While it doesn’t seem like a lot, that’s far more two-running back sets than the Bills had ever run previously. The Bills effectively used Hines in a similar way Brian Daboll used Isaiah McKenzie as a gadget receiver several years ago. And despite some plays that were duds, it was highly productive with some chunk plays. The Bills gained 78 yards on those 12 plays, for an average of 6.5 yards each time. Considering the Bills only averaged 4.6 yards per play on their other 60 plays, that Cook and Hines group gave them a major edge as it was sprinkled in throughout the game.“ As other posters have said, it’s about matchups!! Hines was a great add!!
  5. I was at the game sitting in the end zone from where the Bills started the drive. I can tell you that my ears were literally ringing and my buddy’s Apple Watch was giving the “sound warning” notice from the decibels. It was extremely loud. Allen’s pass to get us off the goal line dropped the decibels significantly. I wouldn’t call it “the” turning point but it was a very significant play. The Chiefs we’re looking to get the ball back and add on to their lead before half.
  6. My buddy and I are flying out for the KC game. Anyone have any recommendations for tailgating options. We can buy tickets to a tailgate in Parking Lot M for $95 but were wondering if there were any other options??
  7. I have to admit that your argument is quite convincing Sir!
  8. Does anybody think that we’ll purposely eat more clock with the offense this week given the rash of injuries to our secondary? McDermott always talks about complementary football. If you’re really worried about the Dolphins offense or our defenses ability to stop them, then just keep them off the field.
  9. Might be tough sledding for the D on the first couple of drives but I expect that we’ll make scheme adjustments and turn out fine.
  10. RE: the demise of King Henry. I watched the Giants/Titans game a couple times before Monday Night. I really think that he got nicked up in the Giants game. He looked mortal during the 2nd half of that game. Maybe he’s hit the wall or something but I really think it’s due to an injury at this point. Just my opinion.
  11. Ref what defense to play. I think we held out Our banged up DTs to get them healed up for the Fish. McDermott knows that the first priority is to win the Division. I think we use the KC blueprint with some intermittent pressure packages to force throws where we want them to go. Our D baits QBs to throw into certain spots through manipulation of coverage and rush.
  12. Dabs brought the read option to NY with him. Watching Daniel Jones run that play is cringy. As for the debate, I’m not a fan of Josh running all the time. But, you have to balance that with the player and the way they like to play the game. If being able to run makes Josh play free than I guess we’ll all just have to accept it.
  13. I’d like to see us control the pace of the entire game. The defense needs to get off the field on 3rd Down, especially when it’s 3rd and short. My concern with ball control teams, like the Titans and Ravens, is that our offense doesn’t get into and maintain a rhythm. We need to play our game and destroy this team. As they said in Remember the Titans, “Leave No Doubt!”
  14. Cousins to Jefferson was crazy! Jefferson pulled down almost 40 fantasy points.
  15. Can’t wait for tomorrow! Thanks for putting this together!!
  16. In 2019, the Broncos traded Sanders to the San Francisco 49ers midseason. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Buffalo Bills in the following two seasons before deciding to end his NFL career. Sanders retires with 704 career receptions, 9,245 receiving yards and 51 receiving touchdowns. The two-time Pro Bowler also recorded 202 rushing yards with one score. **per the Athletic Article covering the retirement
  17. We need to tackle well to win this game!
  18. I enjoyed this! Thanks @eball. Completely agree with your take!
  19. That would be quite the story. The question is would you pay him if that happens? I don’t really know the answer myself.
