Just watched it. Agree with the negative sentiments regarding Kingsbury. You kind of pick up on expectation from the parents of having a program that would discipline Manziel, but disappointed that it never happened.

I’m impresssd by what has transpired. Go back to January of 2021 and remember your reaction to the Eagles firing Pederson and hiring Sirianni. They also got rid of Wentz and went all in on Hurts. At the time I really doubted the decision making. Wow, was I completely wrong. Eagles and Hurts are in a great place right now.

Very subjective. Bill O’Brien hasn’t coached in the NFL since 2020.

Tactical game plan: Regular season win at KC last season. The defensive coverage call that forced an interception to end the game was fantastic. Post game, Mahomes admitted that the call got him. Just providing an example as you requested above. I like McDermott but am nudging closer to scrutinizing his performance as head coach. I’m a fan of consistency and stability but Philly is a great example of coaching hires if you get it right. I love the swagger that Sirianni brings. McDermott is almost too corporate and buttoned up.

@GunnerBill I think your points on the O-line are spot on! We need to pick a direction and go with it. The “consistency” that we’ve had with coaches and scheme hasn’t translated into a coherent plan for the line. Very puzzling. Thanks for your write ups. They are great reads and I enjoy them very much.

One of the announcers for the game pointed out that Tua is having difficulty on intermediate routes because he can’t see that part of the field due to his height. He hits deep balls consistently because he can see it. When you look at where the interceptions are happening it kind of makes sense.

I don’t understand why our defensive coverage assignments are being missed. It can’t be just Hamlin, or is it?

Was watching the game at a friends house because I don’t have NFL Network. Abruptly left at the end of the 3rd Quarter and took off all Bills clothing when I got home.

I think McKenzie is more of a liability than an asset. His overall success from last year led to more playing time this year that just hasn’t panned out. I think Dorsey is trying too hard to get him in the game plan and in doing so sacrifices the rhythm of the offense. An example was in KC, we inexplicably forced the use of McKenzie in the red zone and turned the ball over because he doesn’t know the play or was focused on something else. I’ve seen enough to not trust him in the playoffs. Completely agree with bringing in Beas for the push to the Super Bowl.
