RE: the demise of King Henry. I watched the Giants/Titans game a couple times before Monday Night. I really think that he got nicked up in the Giants game. He looked mortal during the 2nd half of that game. Maybe he’s hit the wall or something but I really think it’s due to an injury at this point. Just my opinion.

Ref what defense to play. I think we held out Our banged up DTs to get them healed up for the Fish. McDermott knows that the first priority is to win the Division. I think we use the KC blueprint with some intermittent pressure packages to force throws where we want them to go. Our D baits QBs to throw into certain spots through manipulation of coverage and rush.

Dabs brought the read option to NY with him. Watching Daniel Jones run that play is cringy. As for the debate, I’m not a fan of Josh running all the time. But, you have to balance that with the player and the way they like to play the game. If being able to run makes Josh play free than I guess we’ll all just have to accept it.

I’d like to see us control the pace of the entire game. The defense needs to get off the field on 3rd Down, especially when it’s 3rd and short. My concern with ball control teams, like the Titans and Ravens, is that our offense doesn’t get into and maintain a rhythm. We need to play our game and destroy this team. As they said in Remember the Titans, “Leave No Doubt!”

Cousins to Jefferson was crazy! Jefferson pulled down almost 40 fantasy points.

Pats Mitchell just had a beautiful illegal arm bar that the ref missed to rob Corrall of a completion. The arm bar was expertly done so you couldn’t see it.

Pats just scored a TD. Mac Jones hit a deep ball on the left sideline to get them into the red zone. Montgomery ran it in. The pats are definitely trying to stretch the field this year.

Pats starting O is 1 of 3 on 3rd Down and they’ve had the ball 3 times. First Qtr just ended.

I don’t see the utility of holding on to OJ Howard based on preseason game 1. He didn’t offer much even when he was playing late in the game. I’d rather roll with the younger guys and continue to develop them than keep him on the roster.

I also liked that he was doing everything possible to get back on the field after they rearranged his ankle. I took a mental note that Allen and Diggs were encouraging him after the injury on the TD.

Barkley definitely showed a better understanding of the offense than Keenum today. It almost seemed like Case was nervous to start the game and it just spiraled out of control for him. Hopefully he bounces back next game and shows some better timing and production.
