  1. I picked a good time to peel these onions...
  2. He threw the ball well. He doesn't seem to have urgency on the first third down of a series, but he had a lot of pressure. I would have liked to see an adjustment to quicker throws with short crossing routes. Not sure why we kept bashing our head against the wall.
  3. I just want to know if the coaches are harping on Tyrod to release quickly and if there are quick reads for him to make. When the opposition is blowing up your line, you need to adjust. I saw Tyrod not understand the importance of getting it out quickly, and I can't say for sure that isn't also on coaching. It seems to me we need all day to pass, and I don't see other teams utilize that game plan.
  4. Romp wasn't gushing tonight.
  5. Tyrod Taylor > Cam Newton. That should speak volumes, coming from me.
  6. I would hand in my fan card immediately.
  7. "Enough already," said the man, as he opened up his web browser and initiated another internet discussion about it.
  8. I love that our color rush is just our all whites. The all red was interesting, and I'm glad they did something weird like that, but let's just keep our great uniforms as they are.
  9. I feel bad for AJ McArron. What a weird spot. Last time I can remember something like this was when we traded McCargo but he failed the physical. Pretty sure we kept him for another full season after that. So awkward.
  10. It's called confirmation bias. A referee is hardly impartial, and they have preconceived notions that the Patriots are a good team. In split second decisions their confirmation bias kicks in and they make a decision in favor of the Patriots because they've been associating their team with success. The degree to which this will effect a game is likely very minimal, but I couldn't be convinced that it doesn't exist, albeit at a very small level.
  11. Literally my least favorite player not named Tom Brady.
  12. Ahhh yes, the final 5 games of 2004. A tremendous run we went on to finish that year, until...
  13. This should be a weekly thread.
  14. We were 5-2 because of Fred Jackson. People forget how dominant he was to start that season. He had 6 100+ yard rushing games in the first 9 games and got injured early week 10. I think that played a big role in our team falling apart. He wasn't just our best player on offense, but the locker room leader as well.
  15. I love Eric Moulds, but McCoy has had a much greater impact on the game. It's not even close.
  16. He was They barely played him the first 5 weeks of the season. I really don't want to be getting to a point where I'm defending Dareus because he's not exactly my favorite player, but... he didn't look that bad. We should have let him play out the year. If he was such a locker room cancer we should have done this before the year began.
  17. Again, if that's the case why did they have him to start the season then?? If all we could get was a 6th round pick, and we were okay with that, then we should have pulled the trigger in the offseason. If he was such a locker room cancer, why let him hang around for 6 games. We mistakenly felt urgency in the trade deadline and went for it now, which I don't understand. At this point, we should have let him finish the season. The 6th will be there after the season.
  18. I think that's pretty obvious, huh? I'm saying there's only 10 games left in the season. The suspension thing is a risk, not doubting that for a second, but if you felt that strongly about the suspension possibility than we should have done this before the year began. Again, I think this was a lose-lose situation for Beane, but for a 6th I'd have just taken the risk and held on to Dareus as DT depth as we make a run.
  19. Yeah but like...so what? It's been that way for a while now.
  20. You know, I've only been thinking about this for 15 minutes so this might not be right, but...I agree with you. There's a lot of people trusting the ever living sh** out of the process right now, but honestly, this is a bad trade. It's not bad because we got rid of Dareus on the cheap and "got rid of" his massive contract, it's bad because there was a greater value in having Dareus for the final 10 games of the season than a 6th round pick. Beane couldn't figure out to get rid of him for more than a 6th? Fine, looks like we'll have to keep him and call teams again in the offseason. The savings were not great enough to do it mid-season like this. We are going to be hurt by Dareus no matter what, and he's a better player on the field than his issues and contract problems if we're talking about only a 6th in return.
  21. It was a lose-lose situation. I'd rather take a chance on keeping him through the season. If we made a run for the playoffs and had a need for DT depth...it's not like he isn't a former all-pro or anything.
  22. ...that's not really that great considering we only get a 6th round pick. This is such a tough spot to be in for the Bills. It was lose-lose.
  23. It's a pretty hard to swallow for sure. If the reports are true that they were trying all season to unload him, and this is the best they could get...
