  1. Me too. Good thing we cut one of them today.
  2. “Hey let’s cut a guy that played well when thrust into his first regular season action!” Seriously, who was the guy that completely whiffed the tackle on Williams’ long punt return yesterday? We can’t cut that guy?
  3. Anyone else cringe every time they see the “island” nickname?
  4. You attended the game and want to trade McCoy?
  5. Jerry Hughes looks like he's being held on every single play ever.
  6. It's worse than middling. Daboll has flamed out three times majorly as an NFL OC. I'm not sure how many guys get a fourth opportunity. If/when he fails here, I would be absolutely shocked if he got another chance.
  7. People love the Aikman comparison anytime a rookie QB doesn't look good.
  8. My level of fandom is actually at a pretty great spot these days. I think I’ve got it right where it needs to be in case they ever get good, without feeling like I’ve completely abandoned them when they were bad. For the record - when they hit that “obviously missing the playoffs” in Week 12, I usually do other stuff while the game is on. The last few years we’ve been in it until the end, but that’s been rare.
  9. What crusade am I on exactly? I said at least it was exciting to watch. You highlighted three blowouts he had against NE. Newsflash EVERY ONE OF OUR COACHES HAS BEEN BLOWN OUT BY NE. His one win and other close shootout loss were probably two of the most exciting Bills games of the last 20 years - and not even because they were particularly fantastic, but because we looked like a modern NFL offense. That offense was more exciting. If you disagree, you're the one on a crusade.
  10. Terrible OL and a bunch of no-name WRs? Remember when Chan Gailey had a worse group so he spread the offense, focused on quick passes and started going toe-to-toe with the Patriots through the air? At the very least it was fun to watch.
  11. Pot, kettle.
  12. Thrice failed.
  13. Because he needed support and he didn’t get it. Not all of us are raised with the same level of understanding and importance of being prideful. We don’t know the full story with Karlos, but I struggle to see why he’s not worthy of both sympathy and forgiveness.
  14. Yes, the score matters. It was 6-0 and up until that point we had been losing the field position battle. Flip the field, get a quick stop and give your rookie QB a short field. This isn’t madden. We gave up a huge drive and that was probably when the game was lost, but as someone who often questions punts, this one made complete sense.
  15. Sure. He appears to have exhibited a real substance abuse problem. I don’t know Gordon’s story as intimately and I think he maybe bungled multiple opportunities, but it sounds like he had a real mental disorder to deal with.
  16. I think McCoy is still our best player. The week that Daboll realizes that we'll have a free win.
  17. He hasn't played well at all, but he jumped over a guy and tried to fire the defense up in a losing effort so he might as well get the key to the city in Buffalo. My benchmark is EJ Manuel, which should be very, very a low bar. Allen needs to improve completing passes in obvious passing situations and clutch third downs. If he keeps getting off the field this quickly I'll have no hope. As an aside, I think even EJ was better at this point, though no one can deny Allen's ceiling, it's a little annoying to watch a shutout and the pass he threw at the end of the first half.
  18. This is a loser mentality. He wasn’t focused on a tie or a loss, but a win.
  19. What was the score?
  20. I’ve never been more disappointed in a Bills player. What an incredible rookie season, and then...nothing. By the way... the fat jokes are tired and boring. Not sure how you can’t sympathize with a young man that bungled such a wonderful opportunity.
  21. I focused on Star a few times today. I don’t understand why he gets a pass like he’s playing some version of the game that we can’t comprehend. He’s not getting penetration and he’s not sucking up guys like people are swooning over. He looks like an average guy. The bigger issue for me isn’t that we got him, but how we chose to upgrade the team in the offseason by spending money on him as opposed to a WR or OL.
  22. I liked it. I thought the broadcast team was annoying, acting like it was such an obvious decision. We’ve seen belicheck make similar calls, and even not get the first down to lose the game.
