Per WR John Brown, he turned down a 3 yr deal from Bills

Gotta love the Bills' mentality... what other team goes into the offseason with a John Brown or bust mind set? -
Barkley's twitter has an alarming amount of pro-bitcoin investing "advice".

What in the hell are you trying to say here. I read it three times and I felt dumber each time. -

It doesn't matter folks. -
Defense bent but did not break.....
fridge replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We still gave up the underneath stuff and gave Brady a lot of time in the fourth on their big drive. Defense had three uncharacteristic third down stops, which limited the Patriots to 9 points to start. I'm not fawning over them, but it's clear defense is not the issue with this team. -

San Diego Radio Show Host Comments

McDermott seems to enjoy getting blasted off the field in non-competitive football games. If we were to win this game with Derek freaking Anderson I would be more shocked than some disc jockey in San Diego. -
I was very wrong about Tyrod & have to own it.
fridge replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are the stats for Tyrod 1 supposed to be incredible? Only in Buffalo do those stats look like they break records. At least 10 teams get that production week in and week out. -
Jon Ledyard on the young QBs (Mahomes, Watson, Allen, et.al)
fridge replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Genuinely hysterical. To suggest that Watson has a worse situation in Houston... with one of the top 3 WRs in the NFL. I don't even... just wow. -
Why do you think he would be a saint living with Jim if he was signed in Buffalo? He got into plenty of trouble when he was here, both as a player and even later. Nothing about his character suggests he's going to just move-in with big Uncle Jim and fairy tale style live this proper life where he learns which side of the plate the salad fork goes. Chad Kelly has made the kind of mistake that screams abuse issues. He needs to go to counseling and likely some form of rehab before I'd even consider wasting any minute of my life signing this guy. McDermott also seems to avoid players like this, so I'll be absolutely shocked if he signs here.

I'm not looking forward to having drunk Bills fans tell me for the next 15 years that we should have just signed Chad Kelly.

Of course, but what does that have to do with what I was talking about?

I'm saying Allen has like 10-15 more games left to turn it around, including the offseason. I used EJ's allotted timeframe as the example. What does "chuckie" have to do with anything?

That's my point...

I mean, yeah if we're just going to start the excuse train. I don't know why this is so difficult to understand. He started 5 games. He could have been good or bad. He was bad. It's alright, it's not over, he can definitely come back and be a great QB... but you understand that's less likely to happen than if he was good, right? The odds, the percentage, the chance that this happens...realistically speaking... is low. Like I said, it's not way too early, it's a little early to write the book on Allen. We gave EJ I believe 14 starts before we pulled the plug, so Allen is already more than a third of the way there.

Whaley and Dorsey have both failed this test. When given that condition, you decline the position. For Whaley, when he was told he could not hire his own coach and had to allow Rex Ryan to come in and dismantle his defense, he should have politely resigned, and cited a difference of opinion. You need a backbone to have success at such a difficult job like being an executive in the NFL. This is just as much on Dorsey and Whaley as it is the owners in these situations. Whaley doesn't strike me as a guy who put up for himself and Dorsey doesn't strike me as a particularly bright guy.

Can someone translate this for me? Hue Jackson is taking over offensive play calling duties? Is that what we're supposed to have feelings about here?
