    My narrative is that he hasn’t been used at the same rate as last year and our offense is missing that creative element and speed. You seem to be arguing points I haven’t made.

    His numbers across the board have decreased from last year. He’s been a healthy scratch. Even watching the games you can see the difference in how he’s used compared to last year. The evidence says you’re wrong but okay.

    I never said he should be used as a primary receiver. And no, he’s not being used in the same capacity as last year. His snap percentage is down considerably this year and our offense lacks the same diversity it had last year with McKenzie.

    So you’re saying he somehow got worse as a route runner and became less of a weapon to be used for the things he was successful at last year? Makes sense.

    Has nothing to do with him as a route runner. Last year he was used extensively on jet sweeps and reverses. This year we’ve rarely seen any of those plays and it begs the question why.

    He gets credit but it also brings up the obvious question of why McKenzie hasn’t been used the entire year.

    Been saying it all year. No idea why we went away from the jet sweeps, reverses and pop passes that were so successful for us last year. Especially when the offensive line was having trouble blocking.
