I don’t feel the need to constantly sugar coat things or try to massage Josh’s ego. Bad games are inevitably going to happen and there are going to be times where he doesn’t play well. Sunday was one of those days. He tried forcing some throws and they didn’t work. That’s what happens when you have a guy with his arm and mentality. It’s great when it works but sucks when it doesn’t. It’s going to work a lot more than it doesn’t.

Im such a sucker for the Shanahan style WCO. The idea of Josh working the play action bootleg game makes my private parts tingle. You’re probably correct about us staying in house with replacements. Although I’d have to imagine that McD will have plenty of options for outside hires. I’m sure lots of guys with ambitions of being a HC will want to help their cause by having a great offense led by an elite QB.

Mike Zimmer would be an interesting option if he’s fired in Minny. Still not sure about Dorsey and what kind of play caller he’d be.

This is true and since we will be paying Allen a ton of money it’s very important that he hits on impact players early in the draft.

The key is to play teams with terrible run defenses.

I absolutely believe he will be an MVP one year but too many things went against him this year for it to happen. Get him some consistent protection and cut down on the INTs and he’ll be a legit contender.
