I’m cool with Josh running but my biggest issues were relying too much on the designed QB runs and Josh unnecessary taking hits. Maybe that’s what McD has an issue with?

They right side needs attention but the season doesn’t start for another 5 months.

This draft looks pretty deep with lineman. Granted they don’t pick until round 3 now but you can still find a quality lineman then. Lots of things can happen between now and September.

Most teams had that problem with us. That’s what happens when you have one of the best QBs in the league.

They are fixing the o-line and surrounding Tua with as many weapons as possible so there is little doubt about his future if he doesn’t take a big step forward. They were likely never going to take a QB high this year. They still have two 1st round picks next year that they can use on a QB or package to trade up for one. If that happens, they’ll have a rookie stepping in with a better o-line and great weapons. The plan makes sense to me.

Even if we sweep them, they’re still going to be a tough team. They were a fringe playoff team already with one of the worst o-lines in the league and Fitz/Tua. And what do you mean they haven’t done a whole lot to address their o-line? They signed Terron Armstead and Connor Williams.

What’s difficult to understand? Offense was the Dolphins biggest problem and Hill helps that.

Yes it’s the WCO which Reid runs.

The system they are bringing in best suits Tua though.

It’s overshadowed because it happened yesterday and nobody even knows who Fred Johnson is.

They can get a Jimmy G type of season out of Tua and be a dangerous playoff team.

These questions are always so lame without anymore information. Who’s available when we’re on the clock? Picking a position to draft is meaningless.

On paper they are a good QB away from being one of the best teams in the AFC

The Jets were the best case scenario and it wasn’t even close. Waddle and Hill are a dangerous duo and Hill doesn’t have to beat you deep to be a game changer. The Dolphins gave up significant draft capital but it’s mostly mid to late round picks and they still kept their two first rounders for next year. In the last two days the Dolphins offense just got a lot better.

Not a fan. Tua obviously isn’t great but Tyreek is and he doesn’t need to burn you deep to be a game changer.

Really nice signing and will likely slide into the slot to replace Cole.

Issues with drops and getting open seem pretty important if you’re a WR. I don’t see many opportunities for reps here so it’s a pass.

Good backup for a 7th. Salary seems a bit high but maybe they can fix that.

Saw a rumor of CMC to the Chiefs for a pair of 3rd round picks.

He’s likely cheap, familiar with the offense and good in the locker room. He sucks but we’re screwed without Josh anyways.

Josh’s new money starts next year so it makes sense.

Guess Beane couldn’t convince him to retire instead. Easily the worst contract he’s given out so far.
