  1. Changing history to meet people's sensitivities is a bad idea. The history on that wall: He was a Hell of a ball player, NOT he was a Hell of an upstanding citizen. Do we have to have a yearly review of everyone on the wall to make sure they meet community standards? Now, should we scour police records and news stories and remove anyone who ever hit his wife, snorted blow or said something politically incorrect? Further, he was found not guilty. The thing he was found guilty of was, I think, trying to steal his own freaking trophy back.
  2. Marrone's barber has reportedly defended him, too.
  3. If I were an owner, I wouldn't hire him. But to answer the question, I'll ask a question: How has Petrino fared since ditching the Falcons and owner A. Blank mid-season (not to mention his wife in a very publicly embarrassing fiasco)?
  4. Im game, we'd be the only team in the NFL with a head coach who wears mascara and stars in rock videos. As for him leaving his cushy job I highly doubt it . ****, is he available?
  5. This may not end well for him, and unless there's a piece of the story missing, he may deserve it. Good grief if he can't handle Jerry Sullivan and the Buffalo press poking him for conservative fourth-down punts... As I see it, he also has a one in four shot unless the job was already guaranteed to him prior.
  6. Mr. Mods: Tear down this thread.
  7. Hackett coming back equals insanity. We went from lesser talent and a top offense to more talent and the worst in the league, two years running. Also, this offense just doesn't pass the eye test. No rhythm. No imagination. No space. This guy should be an assistant. I truly can't believe Hackett wasn't fired a year ago, let alone last week. From a mere PR perspective, bringing this guy back with our historically bad offense would be asinine. From a football one, there really shouldn't be any argument this guy's game planning and play calling aren't ready for primetime.
  8. Erin Andrews date. Watching a playoff game. In my bed. Boom!
  9. There can be only one Doug. There can be only one Doug.
  10. No no no. You've seen Sanchez for years. Really? Foles.
  11. I would be a big fan of Nick Foles on this team. One of the top quarterbacks last season. I think he would win the starting position. Like EJ he is also young. Good poise in the pocket and he is somewhat mobile. Ran Chip Kelly's offense to a T last season.
  12. You really can tell a whole bunch from a snapshot in time. Like this guy in Vietnam. He had FOREVER to dodge that bullet. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/hi/picture_gallery/05/in_pictures_the_vietnam_war_/html/6.stm Orton shares a lot of the blame. But If Hackett it is still here in January there will be a revolt in Buffalo land. I will participate.
  13. I've seen all I need to see from Orton. Play EJ, see what he's learned. It would actually be foolish not to play EJ at this point. I don't what to see Orton play another starting snap for the bills again.
  14. Too bad we can't play Peyton Manning and Aaron Rogers every week.
  15. It definitely shouldn't be played with a FG when we're significantly down. 22-3. "The Bills make we want to...!" Way depressing.
  16. This is nice. What an epic d we have here.
  17. Maybe Justin Bierber can give us a pep talk to really put the hex on. The Buffalo Blueberries.
  18. Monochrome went out with Regis Philbin ... in the late 90s. Doomed. Also brings back bad memories of our Arena League-esque unis of the early 2000s.
  19. And, once again, no Bills in ATL.
  20. Getting a new HC would likely lead to another rebuild. I don't think I can take that again. Fire the OC, get a new one. Who, I don't know, but someone capable to adapting within games. I agree with some of the posters here that Marrone has instilled a tough mentality. We are a QB, OG and (healthy) RB short of a very good team.
  21. Get him a coffin About the only thing missing were crossed arms like a vampire.
  22. I loved it when he played dead after getting knocked down near the end zone.
