  1. I'm all in, but I'll say it again -- those story lines are for Bills fans. Now if Cyrus Kujo would come out of the closet or something, then we'd have something.
  2. If the Bills make the playoffs this year, and don't win the Superbowl, I'll send you $5 to recoup your cost ... just for having faith.
  3. OK. I'm sold. Something special here.
  4. Great movie. They don't make em like that anymore. All CGI, over produced and underwritten.
  5. You could be a producer. You produced solid story lines...for Bills fans. People don't care about them. The Browns or Eagles will be getting it this year. As for distraction, I'm all for it. Buffalo needs some national exposure. Zero worries about any media distraction.
  6. Great recap. The Atlanta game hurt. I seem to recall Game 3 vs. the Jets as horrible. Big picture: Conservative playcalling on O. This was a super boring offense last year, sans FJ and CJ. That, and an inexperienced /oft-injured QB. I would add a distant second to be bad special teams. We gave up a boring, predictable defense with Wanny and got the same on O, albeit fast-paced, with Hackett. I hope we open this mother out come September.
  7. Honestly, I haven't moved on from EJ. There's nothing to move on from. He hasn't shown anything, positive or negative, other than his penchant for injuring himself on mundane plays. All he has is potential. And that is why the sane thing is to bring in a stud -- as a backup or as a competitor. If "all in" means cashing all your chips on one square, I'm all out -- that's a bad strategy in any game.
  8. Sink or swim with this admin. Let's hope we swim. It's impossible to argue the logic of drafting insurance to the people who think it means automatically means replacing EJ. Mindboggling that we don't have a backup to a guy whose shown nothing thus far.
  9. Seriously -- it's up in the air if we have a legit starter. Lewis seems like a third stringer. Jeff Tuel is a long ways away. And I don't even know who the fourth guy is. Kolb? Is he even still with us? I think you could find one of these to drop for an Aaron Murray like talent.
  10. Good point.
  11. Disappointed, but not surprised. This decision to go all cards in has a 50 percent chance of screwing us. You have your choice between a potential elite QB to at least serve as a backup, and potentially as competition, and we go for depth. Seems screwy.
  12. Yes, Murray has potential. Grab him by all means.
  13. Wait, am I behind you guys? The Bills here in Atlanta have not picked yet.
  14. A fan from Buffalo gets the call -- too bad he didn't get to call a Bills draftee.
  15. Hate this too. Solid No. 2 and a fun personality. One of the most hard route runners I've ever seen. Never stops, even when he's not the intended receiver. Obviously was a fifth wheel with Watkins and Williams on board now.
  16. The step dad is like there's a lot of shootings, drug dealings, violence etc. But he seems most shocked at the prostitution. In all seriousness, he's definitely a playmaker and seems like a great kid.
  17. Joel Bitonio seems like a good, and logical, pick.
  18. Don't get too excited. It's Day 1 of the draft. We got the best playmaker in the draft according to the same experts, and there are many more rounds to go, and a season to finish.
  19. Impressive. To be fair, teams throw out all sorts of stuff to create false rumors AND to test the waters for potential trades. Impressive nonetheless.
  20. A lot of what ifs here. If Watkins is the player they wanted, and think will make this offense legit, then it'll be worth it. Very risky, yes. But it's silly to say "Watkins would've been available at 9."
  21. My take: This is either a brilliant game changer for this perennial basement-dwelling team, a huge gamble that doesn't pay off, or something in-between.
  22. Tremendous pressure on this kid to dominate from Day 1 -- Dez Bryant, or Calvin Johnson like. Holding off judgment. This team hasn't done anything aggressive in 14 years, and has been a non factor for 13 of those years.
